WWE Reportedly FRUSTRATED With FOX Over Ridiculous Censorship On Smackdown 

The Right to Censor gimmick has gone way too far

Fox is the same network that has aired Married With Children/Family Guy/The Simpsons and Cops

I’ve never liked censorship.

Fox had so many shows in the 80s and 90s and now that pushed the envelope, but their censoring WWE doesn't make sense

The day WWE leaves that damn network I’m gonna be glad.

Both RAW & Smackdown should be on Netflix permanently since Netflix no longer have censorship like FOX & USA did

USA Network suddenly deciding that they need to censor “Holy Shit” chants, when fans have been chanting that for YEARS and it was uncensored for YEARS, is incredibly dumb to me. Are people really that goddamn sensitive these days?

I'm so sick of them silencing the "holy shit" chants. A few times I thought my TV was breaking

I wasn't watching on Fox, but I was talking to people who were, and they were wondering what the hell was going on.

Hard to enjoy a show when you can't see it. Can't wait for the move to USA network. After smackdown I read that aew was getting similar treatment from their network. Wrestling should always be on a channel with relaxed censorship and rules.

Not to mention the audio was bad on Friday as well. They did a horrible job with the audio. The Sound cloudy was terrible as well.

WWE doesn’t need any broadcast network or any cable tv channel especially not now with their record profits. If Fox does this on and thinks it’s going to hurt WWE, they’re delusional.

The amount of people who took Triple H's comments as a second attitude era is coming is funny. People are certain its returning too TV14. Its not.

The censoring has definitely gotten worse since the deals were announced. It’s no coincidence.

In hindsight, this was never the most compatible partnership for either of them. Helped WWE in some aspects some of the time, and it helped Fox in some aspects some of the time. But this was never a match or a fit. Not to mention how they would constantly be bumped to FS1 and would end the show minutes early, for the nightly news. I would've opted for another network at the time they negotiated this deal.

This is not the first time fox went crazy with the censorship / black screen on SmackDown, remember when The Rock was on Smackdown earlier this year and fox was censoring the hell out of those Rock segments? There were plenty of people I came across was very frustrated with all the censorship that fox was doing on Smackdown and I definitely don't blame WWE for being frustrated. September 13th can't come fast enough when Smackdown moves back to the USA Network, yes I know USA Network also censors, but at least it's not as bad as Fox.

Thank goodness we've got Raw & Smackdown coming to Netflix for that uncensored goodness. UK TNT Sports feed of Smackdown wasn't censored last week fyi.

I remember back in the 90's FOX was edgy and pushing the envelope but nowadays it seems like they got neutered. Disney probably chopped their balls off.

This is one of the disadvantages of airing live television on broadcast television. They're a lot stricter compared to cable television (especially ABC) they're going to censor anything that fall within their standards and practices
