Pat McAfee: And here comes the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns and you can tell that he’s only got revenge on his mind. Greg Hamilton: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns. Michael: Yeah. We want to take you back to what happened last week during the Triple Threat Title Vs Career match main event between the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan and the current SmackDown Universal Champion, his adopted Shield nephew, the One Winged Angel, Prince Sephiroth. Roman Reigns looked set to regain what was his from his adopted Shield nephew when his own cousin, Jey Uso, ran down to the ring and backstabbed the Tribal Chief, completely ready to help Sephiroth retain his title. Roman Reigns then walked into a waiting One Winged Angel and per the match’s stipulation, not only did he make sure that Daniel Bryan’s career on SmackDown is over, but that Roman Reigns can’t get another rematch for the SmackDown Universal Championship as long as the One Winged Angel holds the title. Afterwards, Sephiroth destroyed the collar of his new ally that Roman Reigns had placed around his neck over the past few months, told Jey Uso that he was now a free man and that he can finally leave the obligations of his loyalty to his cousin, the Tribal Chief to be nothing more than a relic of the past. Both: (enter the ring.) Paul Heyman: (gains a microphone in hand.) Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman and I am the pissed off Special Council of the ripped off Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. So, what the hell happened here last week? How did we go from Roman Reigns about to be a 2-time SmackDown Universal Champion to a scenario where now the history books will describe it as the night with Jey Uso finally, after all these months, getting his revenge on Roman Reigns? Roman Reigns: (takes the microphone from him.) I’ll take care of my cousin on my own time and in my own way. Jey, I want you to know something right now and I want you to listen well. Because of the fact that you blatantly betrayed me by attacking me during my match last week and decided to help my adopted Shield nephew retain what was his instead of helping me regain what was mine, you may have just automatically forfeited your place at the table. But, there’s someone else that over the past three months, although I love both him and my Shield niece very much, has been nothing more than a thorn in my side. I have a feeling that this individual knows who they are. So, Sephiroth, get your One Winged Angelic self out here right now. Prince Sephiroth: (walks out to the ring with the SmackDown exclusive Universal championship and his sword, Masamune in his possession and Jey Uso at his side.) Michael: And here comes the aforementioned adopted Shield nephew of the Tribal Chief, the current SmackDown Universal Champion, the One Winged Angel, Prince Sephiroth and he’s joined by the same man he freed last week, Jey Uso. Pat: There’s no denying the friendship that must’ve developed between Prince Sephiroth and Jey Uso over the past week. Michael: Think about what he said to Jey Uso two weeks ago, “I’ll grant you your freedom in exchange for betraying your own cousin and helping me retain the SmackDown Universal Championship.” Pat: In case you’re seeing him for the first time, his name is Prince Sephiroth. Some of you might know him from the Final Fantasy series under his aliases, “The Legendary Hero” and “The One Winged Angel.”, but he’s making a name for himself now in WWE. He’s the adopted son of my former teammate on the Indianapolis Colts, King Baron Corbin and the Grand WWE Champion, Empress Madame Ninja Barrett, as well as the adopted brother of “The Lone Wolverine,” Princess Baroness Corbin, the adopted brother in law of Elias Samson and the adopted uncle of Princess Elita Samson. Both: (enter the ring and stare down both the Tribal Chief and his Special Council.) Roman: (to the current SmackDown Universal Champion, his adopted Shield nephew, the One Winged Angel.) You know, Sephiroth. You have a lot of nerve to show up here tonight. (turns toward his cousin.) And Jey, you have a lot of balls to choose to side with him over continuing to be my right hand man. Jey Uso: (takes the microphone.) That’s because he helped me to see the light and realize the truth for what it was. Sephiroth: (retrieves the microphone from his new ally.) You did call me out here, did you not, Uncle Reigns? So, I full on expect that it’s at least something important. Roman: Oh, you’re dang right it’s something important. Sephiroth: If it’s about wanting to fight me for the SmackDown Universal Championship again, the answer’s straight up no. I already subjected myself to three rounds with you. Why make yourself even more miserable? Why should I torture myself and everyone else watching even further? Roman: Damn okay. Sephiroth: You maybe called the Tribal Chief, but let me tell you what I see. All I see is a blatant, Samoan ripoff, copycat, dollar store, cheap knockoff version of me. Paul: Geez, Sephiroth. You didn’t have to do your Uncle Reigns like that. Sephiroth: (to the Special Council of his adoptive Shield uncle.) Could you please just can it before I shove my fist down your way too open throat? This is a dispute between three family members and we don’t want you to get involved. Paul: You know what? Because of your manners, I’ll go ahead and do just that. Sephiroth: Thank you. (to his adoptive Shield uncle.) Listen, while it’s true that my final boss theme set the standard that yours now follows, in some ways, I am your new theme’s predecessor and therefore, deserve to be treated as such. Roman: Now, I’m glad that you two came out here so I can say something to the both of you face to face. (turns toward his cousin.) You costed me my chance to regain my belt (as he points to his adopted Shield nephew.) from him, you backstabbing son of a bitch. And now, I’m personally going to make sure that you pay for it tonight. Sephiroth: (to his new ally.) I’ll do my best to back you up in that fight should he prove to be just as desperate as ever. Jey: Alright. Thanks, man. Sephiroth: (turns toward his adoptive Shield uncle.) Did you and Daniel Bryan really think you both stood a chance against me last week? How foolish. Wait a minute. Shouldn’t you be thanking me for helping you in eliminating Daniel Bryan from SmackDown last week? Roman: Oh, you’re right. Thanks for helping me out with that troubling problem last week. Sephiroth: No problem, Uncle Reigns. Roman: You know he's only using you in order to gain a shot at that right? Sephiroth: Like how you used him in order to retain it like the desperate punk you are? *crowd oohs at the One Winged Angel's burn* Roman: Touchè. Sephiroth: (to the Special Council of his adoptive Shield uncle.) And you. Paul: *gulps in anticipation* Sephiroth: Look, if you so much as decide to undermine Uncle Reigns's authority as Tribal Chief and intervene in my matches in any way, shape or form without his permission, I will end you and have Father bury your remains in Mother's career graveyard where once you seal your fate, there's virtually no escape. Am I clear with this? Paul: Yes, sir.
