Your right the champion should have to show up at every show. I didn't like it when they did same thing with Brock Lesnar. A WWE champion should be more Seth Rollins and like Gunther. And Logan Paul has metal in his hand. That is why he ends up K.O. people. But yet Kevin Owens has unfair advantage where is the logic in that.
Bloodline interference is the most annoying part of almost all of Roman Reigns's championship defenses, so having 3 opponents to combat said interference, avoiding any 2-3 on 1 attacks by the Bloodline since the other 2 can hopefully stop it from happening, will be very nice to see

gunther is most definitely not winning the rumble. i feel like the whole segment on raw was to convince the viewers that he would win. this happens every year when they make a contender look really strong on the last episode before the rumble just for them to lose.

You let your personal hopes get in the way of logic. Gunther has the IC title. The Rumble will be used to set up that program, hopefully with Brock. Say Gunther wins, no IC title defense at Mania? Can't have him drop the IC title before because that would be lame and weaken is bulletproof character. Gunther's time is coming, but right now he's carrying WWE with his IC title and that should be the focus.

Brock Lesnar would never ever goes for mid card title in his career since 2012 so keep it out of mind it would be for ic title. @@ronnie-i8d I was 11, so even if I can acknowledge now it was bad, I didn’t know any better back then, and had a blast. -Got to see Edges final match (at the time) live. -Watched one of the most underrated matches in WM history, Randy V CM Punk -one of the top 5 best Streak matches -And was a Miz Stan, so seeing him beat Cena was a treat to end the night on. I don't see Bayley winning it bcoz it makes scenes. I mean then due to her failure to win the rumble, they may kick her out of the faction and she can be out for one week or another only to show up for Elimination Chamber which is for the number one contender for the WWE Women's Championship at Wrestlemania. Iyo vs Bayley. I don't like Bayley winning the Rumble because it is too predictable and we have already seen it. Another one is really I wanted to see Gunther vs Rollins. It always had been a dream match for years and they never crossed paths in recent years. I remember only one singles match on Raw back in 2019 where Raw was in the UK. Since then they haven't met in a match so this is a really good suggestion but still Punk vs Rollins is so much money! It has a rich history. Actually this year royal rumble is the most unpredictable rumble ever.

Bayley wins the Rumble then on Raw Damage Ctrl shows up where they think Bayley is going to challenge Rhea at WM bit instead challenges Iyo. Stuff happens and it's Bayley, Naomi and mystery partner VS Iyo, Asuka and Kairi at EC. That mystery partner ends up being Sasha. Kabuki Warriors win the women's tag team titled and at WM its Sasha and Naomi challenging them since they never lost the tag titles. Then other than what Bianca does at Mania there's your Smackdown women's division booked til Mania.
The Gunther pick makes no sense. They're not going to have him do double duty and he's taking the IC title into mania. Gunther is the top pick for next year
My final 4 men: Punk, Cody, Gunther, Drew. They’ve all made their intentions clear (yea they’re all Raw guys but 2 of them are after Roman) Final 4 women: Becky, Nia Jax, Bayley and a returning superstar. I think Bayley will win and PLOT TWIST choose Iyo as her title shot because she feels she’s emotionally disconnected from Iyo and doesn’t feel they’re on the same page anymore. This will turn her face and set up a great WM story for their match I gotta choose Punk to go after Rollins. My runner up is Gunther. Cody can win the elimination chamber and face Drew there for the spot against Roman Same goes for Becky, who can win her spot against Rhea at the elimination chamber against stars like Bianca who came up short at the Rumble
@IsraeluchihauzumakiI REALLY don’t want Roman sitting at home WITH THE CHAMPIONSHIP. He literally doesn’t need it anymore. I hated part time Brock but this is a new level of insanity to have him hold it til Mania only to drop it to Cody(cause we just saw it last year). Rock v Cena was the only time I was okay with b2b Mania matches cause the story was there. Cody storyline to Roman would make no sense(I think there are more deserving names that will benefit from beating Roman more than Cody). Rock v Roman non title is far better than Cody v Roman 2.

Every year on the raw/smackdown before the rumble they try to shove one person down our throats and convince us they’re winning the rumble. It’s not gonna be gunther they do this every year.
Personally think Roman should be a singles match against AJ. This adds to the potential pool of rumble winners of Punk, Rhodes, Orton, LA Knight, and Gunther. Makes the rumble less predictable which should be a priority to not have an obvious winner IMO

I think Jade Cargill will be the shock women rumble entrant. For the men’s, I think final 4 will be: Drew, Cody, Jey and punk. Drew will see red and go to eliminate Jey who will be saved by Cody and get eliminated in his place. But Jey pays it back and knocks Drew out of the rumble. Leaving Jey and Punk. Jimmy will appear and distract or cause Jey to get thrown out by punk. Do this and they set up Cody needing a new way to mania. Punk going to mania to face Seth. Jey to face Jimmy at mania. And Drew’s further spiral down.

Well I personally still think Punk will win. Despite Gunther now making it clear he will win the Royal Rumble on Sunday. I feel like CM Punk vs Seth is way bigger. Also I still don’t see Roman vs The Rock at this Wrestlemania seeing as the Rock himself said he’s a long gamer and likes to build this is making me think he will use this WM to build off of to create his feud with Roman like he did with John Cena back in WM 28. Gunther will probably end up facing Brock Lesnar seeing as that’s a dream match up for him. Also I see Bayley winning and doing a Batista like storyline where she’s deciding who to fight and goes with IYO

Hot take: the rumble sets up Gunther vs Brock at WM40. Brock beats Gunther. Seth Rollins retains at WM40. A pissed off Gunther answers an open challenge from Seth Rollins on the Monday night Raw after WM40 and wins the title.

Punk or Gunther wins the men's. Punk if everything is a go with Seth because I genuinely don't think Punk was EVER slated to beat Seth at WM. He's there to give Seth the big win that his title run still needs. I was confident it would have been Cody, given the teases we got last year. But looks like that didn't pan out for whatever reason. Gunther wins the RR if Seth is going to have to take time off after WM. I think Gunther was ALWAYS intended to be the next WHC, and Punk coming back only ever delayed that inevitability. I think Gunther will actually win dominantly too. I'm leaning on Bayley for the Women's Rumble. It just feels like it's time for her to turn face and get her flowers. It's partly why I don't see Sasha coming back at the Rumble either, since I think she'd come back as an ally/enemy for Bayley and that would step on the toes for Bayley vs Damage CTRL. MAYBE for the Raw/SD after mania.
Liv is an underrated pick to win, and no I'm not a Liv Stan. There's so much story between her and Rhea Ripley. It's very unlikely she'll win, I'll admit that but imo it would be a great choice if she did win

Where WWE messed up with not having Cody beat Roman last WM, was the fact that they haven't fought, and even barely crossed paths, since... They dropped that Dusty Rhodes bio very close to WM, and I thought I saw the parallel and really HUGE CLUE, SD to what they were doing. Dusty fought and lost to Flair,,what, 3 times, before he FINALLY won? Overcoming the odds, the injury, the Horsemen... I thought for sure Cody would face Roman another 2 or 3 times and get royally screwed worse and worse each time, until WM24, where he mimics his dad's journey, overcomes the odds and takes down the entire "bloodline." They can STILL KINDA do a much condensed version of that, and here's how not only i would absolutely do it, but I think how they do the Royal Rumble, Chamber, and WM. 1st off, ya got a LOT of moving parts. Ya have a long cast of characters. The one that people are seemingly forgetting about and I believe is absolutely VITAL to the very FUTURE of this angle, and that Señor MITB himself, Damian Priest. WWE simply cannot afford to have him blow his shot.... but really, love him or hate him: is Priest in the same star level as Cody, Punk, Rollins, and of course Roman? But uh oh, he's GOTTA cash that in and WIN. MITB has felt like borderline just a prop like 3 of the last 4 years... Then you have what I'm SURE was a sticking point in CM Punk's negotiations and that is him main eventing wrestlemania. But he has all that real life heat, there'll be complains and worries about him getting a title WIN so soon.... So here's how I bet it goes. Punk wins Rumble, inadvertently taking advantage of Bloodline shenanigans when Cody was about to win his 2nd consecutive Rumble. So let's stick with Punk at this point... sadly, Seth's injury shakes this up a bit, but we'll see. Punk obv chooses Seth. He DEFEATS Seth for the World Title after a hard fought gruesome match... minutes after "and newwww," BOOM, Priest's music hits, he cashes in, and wins the title. Now you've elevated the MITB again. You've technically satisfied Punk with a WM main event. You've technically crowned him a champ right away too... All while keeping Cody v Roman totally intact... Speaking of which, Cody loses the Rumble due to Bloodline...a series of promos, sneak attacks, hit and run, etc., from Cody talking about his back is against the wall, NO MORE. No more games, cuz I've had you beaten "x" times now, Roman. Cody wins E.C., or even loses THAT due to nonsense. He takes on the EC winner, who shoulda been Cody AGAIN, and the stipulation is if Cody wins (probably against Solo or Jimmy, to make it more meaningful), he not only gets Roman at WM, he gets to pick the stipulation.... and in a grand spectacle, mirroring his Dad defeating Flair, we get an enormous one on one WM night 2 main event: Cody Roman Hell in a Cell (And maybe ANY Bloodline interference results in a Reigns forefit and TITLE LOSS, if u really wanna up the ante, but that kinda overkill makes a Cody win kinda obvious) Just the 2 of them, 1 on 1, all BS left at the door, where we end the show with a bloody and beaten Cody Rhodes hoisting his newly won, freshly printed finished story (lol), high in the air, with he himself high in the air standing atop the Cell structure....the SUPER STANDING TALL motif is smacking u upside ur head its so obvious lol, but he alone finally stands tall, high above all, as UP HIGH as he can be, "closer to his father 'up there,' looking down and smiling"
I wouldn’t be surprised if CM Punk doesn’t win the Royal Rumble. We have been hoping and praying for the people we want to win, and become new Champion. Wwe may pull the trigger on someone else that deserves to win the rumble, and not someone who comes back after 10 years and hasn’t had a match in 2 months since his return.
CM Punk, GUNTHER, The Rock or Cody Rhodes are the favourites I'm going for CM Punk winning and Cody winning the Number 1 contendership chamber match at Elimination Chamber. I think Roman vs Rock will be at WrestleMania 41 and Rock wont be in the rumble match but i wouldn't be surprised if rock appeared in the rumble match and wins
I dont understand how people want to see yet another "Roman Retains Lol" match at Mania so damn badly. How quick ppl forget how bad Roman/HHH or Roman/Taker or Roman/Cena at SS 2021 or Roman/Brock from anything other than WM31 was. The Nostalgic Hard Ons for Dwayne is beyond baffling.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I would love to see Ken Shamrock as a shock entrant. He just recently signed with WWE again as he's probably headed into the HoF, but a short appearance in the rumble match would be cool too.

His in rung ability has improved exponentially over the last 18-24 months. His promo work is better than some on the current t roster. If we get Rock vs Roman at Wrestlemania, to be honest, I get it, but I'll be so disappointed. What was all the build up for for Cody? Why is the title needed for this fucking one-off feud? I wish him and Roman would work EC so WM can be Punk vs Rollins (or McIntyre, if he Rollins has to lose the title), ans Roman v Cody, just so we change the damn champion already and can get new challenges, new stories, other new champions. Either that or have him drop it to Orton today, and change the plans a bit for WM. Just give us a new champion, please.

It may disappoint the rock vs Roman fans and I’m not a crazy Cody Stan but I’m so tired of Roman being champion. I hope Cody vs Roman II happens at mania. As for the Heavyweight Championship I really can’t tell. Gunther deserves it, punk deserves it, drew deserves it, priest can still cash in.. just so many options but I think punk vs Rollins will eventually happen at mania.
