There's wrestlers who have more make a wish 's than Cena, they just don't advertise it cause Cena is the Golden Boy, CM Punk talked about it on the podcast
+Faiz Boi He was talking about the Wishes of the Many that wanted him Gone (albeit temporary) He wasn't talking about how many Make a Wishes Reigns has Granted.
Lol what were you watching he was not supposed to be a heel when he feuded with AJ. I'm not a fan of face Roman, but some of you are just blindly hating him if you don't see he can be a good heel. He's smug, the fans boo him (I.E: what you are supposed to do with a heel)
All the comments are just the same 3 or 4 jokes that are in the comment section of every video about this topic, repeated over and over. No originality anywhere.
yeah he should be involved in a storyline where he tries to sell drugs to kids in poor neighbourhoods... on a second though that might be a bad idea...
Dear Roman haters: I don't like Reigns' character. So in no way shape or form do I root for him during his matches. However people are acting like fucking 12 year olds. Half of you don't even actually hate him, you just jumped on the "fuck Roman" bandwagon. Hes not carried during his matches, I mean the guy literally had a match with like 40 year old Big Show and it was awesome. He's talented. He just needs a new character with a bit of a more complicated move set, and less typical "I'm gonna kick your ass" promos.
I don't hate Roman Reigns the man, in fact I could never hate any person. I hate Roman Reigns the character and how he is portrayed. I hate that he is a bland Superman who is always "the underdog" despite rarely, if ever, losing clean. I think he's okay in the ring, but on the mic and as a character Roman Reigns is really boring and one dimensional.
He's done nothing to deserve his spot, being boring as a character, then being boring on the mic, then being boring in the ring... that tells me that the people that cheer the likes of Reigns or Cena are the ones acting like 12yr olds... and most likely are
Believe me, there´s a lot of idiots that are actually very happy not for the character, for the person behind the character living this, they are enjoying that Joe Anoa´i is suffering all this, that bullshit cause me frustation
As someone previously stated, Roman wrestled after a concussion without letting WWE know which is what violated the rule.. I'd say that wasn't just a regular mistake considering their stance on concussions and what it has done to previous wrestlers.
This could play perfectly for Roman to return as a heel in the company. Raw - Top Face = Rollins Top Heel = Reigns Smackdown - Top Face = Cena Top Heel = Styles
Wellness Policies violations have never hurt Randy Orton, in fact he was able to "work one of them off" reducing the 2 violations he had back down to 1. Could see something similar for Roman knowing WWE.
heel you are right, since is a top guy, I dont think it will hurt him too much, maybe not win the Maximum championship but he is not going to lose his push. WWE will most likely to pull hin out of the TV by making an appereance next RAW and suffer a "severe attack"
yall should do more of these what just happened prediction analysis vids, i dont really watch wrestling anymore, but sometimes storylines get kind of interesting, sort of. such as this Shield triple threat thing. which i heard from the previous WJH video money in the bank 2016
I believe, they wanted to set up the Shield Triple Threat anyway. So most likely Seth just wasn't supposed to win clean over Roman, also his chances on winning that Triple Threat decreased immensly ...
+Rahul Singh yeah but they knocked it down to one again due to 'good behaviour' but in reality were just scared that if he did fuck up again they'll lose a top star in him meaning rating decreases. This won't effect Roman too much but from the fans perspective they'll boo him further because they still want to push him even though he done fucked up
+Zerd Teah, but there is one thing everybody doesn't realize. Randy was never a face of the company. He was always second to Cena. Reigns is a diffrent story. He was supossed to be new Cena. He will most likely keep main event spot, but I'm not sure about his "guy" status. You see, it that case, it isn't only on Vince. All of the sponsors and contracters of WWE have word in that too. Them still pushing Reigns as the face of company could result in huge money loss. From sponsors perspective, would you support company that has a drug user as the top guy? That is why they were keeping Cena in that spot for so long. He was crystal clear.
+Bock that would be dumb on the fans part. I swear some people take this hatred for him to far. He should turn heel that way he can talk shit to the fans.
There's something people need to realize before they go around saying people should be fired: These people have lives. They have families, bills and debt. Just because YOU don't like someone doesn't mean that person should lose their job.
"He shouldn't be punished too much..." And why not? He's a sportsman that took drugs as a future face of WWE. You know why Cena is so important for Vince? Because he knows that he's a face of a PG product and that he can't be controversial. In the other words, he's reliable. Meanwhile Roman is in the spotlight for like 1.5 years and he already insulted other superstars in interviews and violated one of the most respected policies in WWE. He should be punished, because he didn't do his job.
1.5? stupid idiot, Roman has being Booked that way, If he was booked as a heel and if WWE forgot about the Kayfabe, I'm pretty sure Roman would be the guy insulting or best known for "pipebombing" like Cm punk did at his moment in WWE and I know what you are gonna say "Stupid idiot, But Cm punk had Charisma, Mic skills, and perform entertaining matches". Fuck yeah I know but because he had free will to talk to the mic and that's he used that as a way to dropping the pipe bomb to Vince McMahon, Roman Is limited to say what creative team tells him what to say *Succotash*. Did he deserves to be punish? yes, he does but that being said Randy Orton was on the same situation Roman is now and I mean for that, the he was suspended for bad behavior, he was being. douch to other wrestlers and he didn't get the same punishment that you want Roman to receive. Carry o don't Carry on a match it doesn't matter he has pulled some good matches like Adam said. Cena having that body and I know he works out a ton but he seems like he has used roids a bit idk.
Exactly what I was gonna say. Thank you for putting it in words! And I'm pretty sure WWE or Vince won't leave him so easily since the whole company was behind Roman no matter what the people said. He basically....betrayed them.
+ashleyfrlyf They will leave him for a long time, because now that everyone know that he got suspended by juicing WWE creative team would make him loose at battleground if the match is still in the table and Taking Roman away from the title spotlight. I don't agree that he having the whole company In his back just think about it Vince loves John so he wanted two John's is easy to see that John Cena has the whole WWE behind his back.
Nice job, Adam! For someone who probably doesn't like Roman's character that much, you handed this video and the situation really well! (Not that I had any major doubts, but Roman's not particularly popular amongst most fans so I'm glad you didn't pander to the ones who wanted to mock him for making a mistake.)
Takes susbtances, WWE ignores for a few days Does money in the bank Does raw Suspended Comes back for battleground Misses pretty much nothing, Great job punishing people for breaking rules WWE
What do they do then? Cancel the main event for Money in the Bank a day before it happens and award seth the belt? Then you would be complaining that they should have had roman lose to seth clean as punishment instead (which is what they did).
BooUrns The same thing but not have him on raw or at battleground and just do seth v dean, seth wins, Deans gets rematch at SS and roman wants his rematch so then make the triple threat
Giovanni Sparro they can't do it then. There's the brand split coming up. This is the last chance we'll get to see the shield triple threat for who knows how long.
Well dont show it now then. Its a WM event anyways and punish roman for what he did. Dont get me wrong it isnt about me hating him, i like him more than dean, i think he is a good wrestler but if you break rules you should be punished. All he is missing is walking out for the draft and getting boo'd. Thats all that he did before MITB anyways and he wasnt even there one week.
The only way to bring him back effectively in any kind of big storyline is as a heel, the fans are booing him anyway however much WWE try and turn the mic's down, why not just go full tilt with it, go full on Heel for a term and when this eventually blows over (which amazingly considering some of the stuff thats happened in the past is almost a certainty) go through some kind of redemption plot line eventually turning him face again and possibly this time leaving the stigma of being the WWE's pet experiment behind him. Potentially if managed really bloody carefully this could be the best thing to happen to his career.
WWE is retarded as hell naming wrestlers just to use puns. Page, Romen Rains and other stupid names. Roman empire, Make it Rain in this bitch. Stupid shit like that it's so corny.
ArcaneAzmadi I meant, that he'll be viewed as unsafe, and they won't put the belt on him for quite a while. WWE did the same thing with Hardy. He had several matches for the world title but he lost all of them, since they can't have the face of the company get suspended. And he rarely got lengthy storylines, due to the same issue.
***** What I mean is, that even after his suspension ends, he's going to be kept away from the title until he proves the he's reliable. Same thing happened with Kennedy, not just Hardy. And with Orton. The only reason they put the title on him, was because Cena got injured, and they always kept HHH as a "plan B" (back in 2007-ish)
When it comes to the wellness policy, fans won't dog on people like Jeff Hardy violating it. They give him a free pass. But when it comes to Roman Reigns, the hate rises and they will accuse him of using steroids. Despite the fact that Cena is more likely to be on steroids than Roman Reigns. Frickin' hypocrites.
Probably a severe concussion then, a mild concussion won't keep you out of action for a month. But yeah, WWE will probably say something like that. Or just ignore it.
Sadeshking Will they say that he is suspended on air? "Yeah our top guy in the company is suspended for 30 days due to breaking our wellness policy." I mean, Reigns can't just disappear now if they want to build up the triple threat at Battleground.
+Sadeshking they won't break his on screen character though for the violation, they even noted his actual name in the story. Something they wouldn't do on TV either. They'll just kayfabe find a reason to write him off temporarily.
Could you imagine when he returns, people trolling him like they did during Kurt Angle's entrance (You suck!, You suck!) , but with Roman, it would be .. Done Drugs, Done Drugs, Done Drugs, Done Drugs!
Definitely be interesting to see how it affects his career, along with how it affects the brand separation. Wouldn't be surprised if Dean Ambrose ends up on Smackdown given how RAW has generally been Cena's bag for quite a while now
My theory is that roman didn't do anything. Its just way of vince showing that he has no favoritism. And when roman comes back, he will finally get that huge pop. Also it will give roman that bad boy rebel look that stone cold once had. That's my theory
Seriously? They used the talent wellness program (on where they are serious about suspending anyone who abused drug) than a kayfabe injury or anything that will help him to be respected?
It would be amazing if After the brand split, on the stage there is the raw roster on one side and smackdown on the other then smackdown roster just leaves with their manager out the back door
interesting note I got a chance to talk Dean Ambrose yesterday as Smackdown was at my work yesterday and I asked him about this whole deal and he responded with "That pretty much everyone was disappointed in Regins after all they have done for him"
Does a violation of the wellness policy necessarily mean he took drugs? I read in an article somewhere that it was because he had a concussion and didn't tell management.
There are lots of "disclosure" requirements in the policy. We don't know the reason for the violation and might not ever, but you are correct that a violation does not necessarily mean he took drugs.
but he's the top guy, they might've brushed it off if what happened to hornswoggle was the case, but they couldn't ignore it if it was something major. Thats my theory anyways
Considering the fact he's booed out of the bulIding every night for how long now? when he's supposed to be the top baby face can't be good for stress or mental health in general, i would be shocked if it ISN'T drugs
Ultimately, this might be good for the Roman Reigns character. The reason people don't seem to like him is the manner he was pushed the SECOND time. He was, whether fairly or not, seen as the company's chosen one, and damn the consequences. However, if he falls back, begins building himself organically, starts over away from "The Guy," and even away from the Shield, we may get the Roman Reigns people want, and not the one they apparently don't.
I don't find Roman reigns promos very interesting at all. It's a complete snooze fest when he's on the mic. His in ring work isn't too bad but I can think of lots of people who have bother better mic skills and in ring ability. The fact is, Reigns has "the look" which is what WWE value, so expect to see him as a main event player for a good decade.... Unfortunately
Maybe he'll fuck up two more times and we won't need to worry. It's doubtful, though. He's so boring. He was cool in The Shield because he was the quiet, powerhouse type guy and they all complemented each other, but as soon as WWE started pushing him as this The Rock/Cena like character he just went to complete shit. He's kinda like a male Eva Marie, should just be a model or something.
Dunno, genuinely feel a bit bad for the dude (sure he doesn't need my sympathy, but still). He works his dick off for the company in consistently entertaining matches, yet is mercilessly booed and jeered for his efforts by blandwagon wankers who shout "you can't wrestle" despite evidence to the contrary, and now this. But hey - I'm a Reigns mark, so what do I know?
He sucks but he put the 3 great performances  2 with AJ and 1 with Seth. It would bad for him to be fired. Then he will be out of the job kinda like you if you even have one.
Here's my theory. They knew about him failing the test prior to MITB and his initial punishment was just removing the title from him. Then the news got leaked late Monday or early Tuesday so WWE had no choice, but to suspend him in order to save face.
I'm a big fan of Roman and when he comes back I'd love for him the have the song "hater" by Korn as his entrance music. It's perfect for his character for anyone who's listened to it
another thing is that during the following Raw shows he won't have any booking relevance so this feud will be surroundings Seth an Dean preparing for a triple threat an when that day arrives he will just be there as the guy and he didn't have any relevance in the feud
roman is awesome . and nothing can stop you talking about him and hating on him but he is not a good guy not a bad guy he's they guy and he will show you that your wrong he is a awesome guy and a awesome person.
Lol, a lot of us don't hate him but we just don't think he's that good. The people in charge think Roman Reigns is the best and that he is good enough to be the face of the company. However, a lot of fans don't think he's that good and they hate how hard the WWE pushes and protects him. That's were the booing comes from: they don't think he deserves a spot in the main event.
+Juan Sanchez Well, almost. They don't think he deserves a spot in the main event *right now*. There are plenty of people, myself included, who think he can handle the main event scene, but only once he gets more experience.
+Juan Sanchez that maybe so but you can't deny that he's taken the role giving to him and has done a great job. His last few matches with Rollins, Styles, HHH he's put on great matches. His mic skills need work but his ring performance continues to improve. Tho I wish they'd let him get rid of that stupid shield bodyguard attire........
I've gone through 8 Electro Convulsive Therapy procedures to help treat my Depression and nothing is really working. If anything I think it made it worse. I still feel suicidal, I barely have any friends. I feel like killing myself real soon. I appreciate all the content you guys make at WhatCulture.
What did he do? He got a free ride to the top because he is FAKE related to the Rock even though he's average at best in the ring and a mumble mouthed goober.
See THIS is what I like about Adam so much. He's smart enough to know the difference between a guys character and the guy playing said character. He's also mature enough not to childishly wish ill will on someone who (like him or not) is a strong worker.
I wish we had a little bit more about what he violated on the wellness policy. The only information I could find about the policy was vague, describing cases of either substance abuse or health issues. We really don't know what he did. I also hope they take this time to rebrand him, maybe have him come back with a vengeance or a chip on his shoulder. Just my two cents.
I feel like they should've put the draft AFTER BattleGround because if "The Shield" gets split up, then you know the one that gets thrown on Raw/Smackdown won't be winning, and the other two who get thrown on Raw/Smackdown have a better chance at winning. Like, if Dean and Seth are on Raw and Roman is on Smackdown, Roman is probably not winning. The draft just makes the card for Battleground way too predictable. Why the 19th? Why a few days before a payperview? You would think they'd want a fresh start with the draft and have it immediately after the PPV, but maybe there was some conflict about making Smackdown live on the 26th instead of the 19th, so they gotta do what they can. Or maybe in the upcoming weeks we'll see a new title announced and people will fight for it, then the final two fight at battleground for it, and that's the Smackdown title, thus only Smackdown superstars would be able to get it. I don't know. It just seems like an awful mess.
They might do the same thing they did during the first WWF draft and still call his name off. Vince did it for Chris Benoit and it built some hype around his return.
Or might it be a work? I had some thoughts about how to fix the relationship between Roman and the gans and one of my ideas was to fayfabe suspend him in order to get him out of the line of fire. He could then return after a month seeking for revenge on whoever took his title and turn heel that way.
I think the extent of the violation will probably be the thing that determines how it will impact his career, I think at the very least they could make a Roman heel turn look a bit more legitimate now. I honestly don't think it will impact his career horribly, I think he'll be back but maybe not as top guy for a while which will be nice to see.
