There is something magical about the fact that out of 40 wrestlemania this was actually only really used for just three of them and yet we all consider this to be the definitive theme. Pretty awesome.
Forever associated with me on the road to WM 10 - played at the end of the 94 rumble when they kept repeating angles of Luger and Hart going over the top rope. Great memories of a pretty ropey period of wrestling all told!
Yeah. The loop back to the beginning with the drum tri-tone is missing and that's one of the best parts (used only in Wrestlemania 6's abridged version).
Yep. I remember the cool graphic for *_Wrestlemania IX_* that showed Bret Hart and Yokozuna super-imposed on Caesar's Palace looking at each other with this music playing. Ahh...the memories.
That's awesome. Do you remember who got the better crowd reaction in the main event? I was at Wrestlemania VIII in Indianapolis when I was 11. Piper-Bret and Flair-Savage were awesome. Hogan-Sid sucked except for the Warrior's return.
This theme was also used to the lead up to WrestleMania IX. Simultaneously, the “93 and time for WrestleMania” song was used as well. Then they had the “Roman Theme” playing as they intro’d the event at Caesars Palace
I always loved hearing this theme and seeing the graphic of Bret Hart and Yokozuna looking at each other on Caesar's Palace. It really felt like a big-time match.
i watch the old WrestleMania on WWE Network and 1:09 is sooooo hype... goosebumps.. the voices of Heenan and Moonson, the announcing "WRESTLEMANIA"" from V***** M****** Holy...
So many good memories. I was a little kid in Italy and some years ago I moved to the US in Stamford...and to my surprise the day after I moved I found out it’s the city of the wwe headquarters!
I had this theme recorded into the external hard drive of my old Xbox 360 and used it on the title screen of Tekken Tag Tournament 2. And man it was a perfect fit.
"So much at stake so much pride.... This is off thee page intense! This is beyond intense!! this is ultra intense.... This is WrestleMania!!!!!" Jim Ross quote during Wrestlemaina 17 Austin Vs Rock
You could hear Howard Finkel doing the countdown in the Skydome as this theme was playing to get the crowd ready for when the cameras were to start rolling
Wrestlemania should start every year with Triple H saying to the camera “are you ready for WRRRESTLEMANIAAA?!” And then this music starts playing. Would be epic!
All that’s needed is a jacked up Vince McMahon doing the voice overs. Dam he knew how to hype up the intros. IT’S……WRRRRRRRRSTLLLLLLLLLLLLEMAINIAAAAAaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh
Absolutely. Wrestling’s golden era of the Mid 80s - Early 90s was the greatest ever. Even better then the attitude era. That era had the best roster of talent, and the fact that they kept it so kayfabe made it so great. I miss those days. Wrestling today will never compare
WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION CHAMPION!!! SGT. SLAUGHTEEER!!!! VERSES THE IMMORTAL HUUUULK HOOOGAAAN!!!! FACE TO FAAACE!!! IT'S WRESTLEMANIAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this song ever since I was a kid have been very lucky to see 4 Wrestlemanias 3,813 and 22 will always love the memories Wrestlemania 8 one of my favorites with Gorilla Monsoon saying to Bobby Henne you made a mistake Perfect made a mistake and Flair made a mistake as Macho Man flipped him over the top rope I loved Macho Man taking the title that night. Also watching Wrestlemania 3 I was 8 years old cannot watch without chills Hulk Hogan my greatest hero body slamming Andre the Giant
If i had bought WWE this is the first move i would have made, making this the permanent theme for Wrestlemania. This song just says Wrestlemania all over it...
Listening to this theme reminds me of Mene Gene promoting the Hell out of this card so much that you had no choice to buy it. Wrestlemania 6 was my first and my greatest of all time
I always thought it would be cool if WWE had a retro theme one year where the big 4 PPVS would have old style entrance ways, interview sets and the old retro themes too. Sadly given the stuff with Vince that will probably never happen now
@@sarnobat2000 okay. Yeah I remember after Luger and Hart both won the rumble that year they played this. Sorry I don't know every detail about this company anymore. I haven't watched it anyway lately. Not much since 2017. I just can't anymore. It's maddeningly bad.
