This will always be Bret Hart's belt in my eyes. I believe he held this particular title more than any one else during the 10 years it was in use (1988-1998)
Kaleb Fields im my opinion the attitude era wwf championship was the best one it reminds me of stone cold steve austin i also liked the wwe championship belt of the ruthless agression era the one before the wwe spinner that one reminds me of jbl and i also liked the spinner wwe championship its way better than the current one it has the eagle also and that one remembers me of john cena the winged belt reminds me more of bret hart and the one before the winged eagle remembers more of hulk hogan and the wcw big gold belt reminds me more of ric flair and the wwe big gold belt reminds me more of triple h, batista and edge
Exactly, that concept that was floating around would've been badass! They should've used that design and used the center WWE logo as the interchangeable plate for the Superstars who won it. I really hate the branded belts with the Big "W."
That’s awesome dude. You’re totally right about this one being iconic. It’d be awesome if they brought it back, even if it was a new one based on the original design. It is totally timeless.
Just ordered mine! Been watching wrestling since late 70’s early 80’s. This belt signifies the greatest era to be a fan. Had to get it. Loved the Attitude era as well
Most time with this belt Hulk Hogan 687 days. Bret Hart 654 days, Randy Savage at 520 days, Shawn Michaels 396 days. Diesel 358 days, Ultimate Warrior 293 days, Yokozuna 280 days, Undertaker 139 days, Ric Flair 118 days, Sid 97 days, Sgt. Slaughter 64 days, Bob Backlund 3 days, Steve Austin 1 day, Andre the Giant 2 minutes. The belt debuted when Hogan wore to to the ring in the last match of his first title reign (2/5/88) and it was retired the day after Austin won it at WM14 (3/30/98).
This title and the Intercontinental Championship belt are my only two favorites title of all time, then add in the Attitude Era version I want those belts.
I think the side bars were connected to the belt instead of the plate to prevent numerous lawsuits of people accidentally stabbing themselves or poking their eye out.
i was thinking about buying the current wwe championship later this year and after seeing this review and how great this championship looks I think I may need to get it instead.
At this point I wish I could see Mascot with a few wrestling belts of his own. Just randomly in a video somewhere, not even WWF or WWE figures just all of a sudden in a transformer review he'd have one on acting like it's nothing.
In my opinion this is the best looking championship belt I've ever seen! Better than any other wrestling, boxing, ufc belt I've seen. Even though an eagle has nothing to do with wrestling it still works!
This is the first video that I’ve seen your face. (I’ve mostly watched your transformers videos.). You look nothing like I pictured. BTW, I have a handmade Winged Eagle, made by the guy who made the original (Reggie Parks).
The side bars are unattached because I believe Reggie owns the design and not WWE, if the side bars were attached then WWE would have to pay Reggie Parks royalties. Similar to the whole ROH thing which is why ROH changed their belt designs.
Erron Black the wwe will never sale one with wwf on it. but you can get a real belt, made by the maker, Dave millican. Don't know what a belt would cost, but i know the wwf logo alone on this belt is 1000.00 additional dollars for licensing and copyright and all that fun legal shit lol or you could get a Pakistani bootleg with wwf for the price of this replica
Congrats on picking up this timeless piece. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING BROTHER!!! You did an amazing review and I thank you for sharing. I myself just don't have the money to pick these up. For me this is the belt to have. BTW I think your wallet just committed suicide bro LOL.
The design is timeless but unfortunetly it would never be bought back because it has the word 'Wrestling' in it and that word is banned. If Vince could he'd rename Wrestlemania to get rid of that word
+emgo316 but when was the last time you heard them call it "World Wrestling Entertainment" it's always WWE. It's hard to find the word on they website. They don't even refer to the guys as wrestlers it's sports-entertainers. Think the last person to say wrestler on Raw was CM Punk in his pipebomb
