The Wyndham Alltra Cancun has something for every Sunny South Vacationer. If you're a honeymoon couple, a family, a multi-generational family or a group of friends this resort has it all. The resort features two pools, one oceanfront pool that offers stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico, the second is on the lagoon side which offers brilliant sunset views in the afternoon. The Alltra Club is an area the kids will love, it features two splashpad/waterpark areas, two larger waterslides and both a kids club (4 to 12yrs) and teen club (13 to 17yrs). There are a total of 11 dining views at the resort ranging from a la carte restaurants, to snack shacks, a buffet and cafe. There is even a candy shop for those who have a sweet tooth. My favourite dining venue had to be Salsa which is the beachfront taco stand. They served up authentic, made to order tacos all day long.

Thanks for this great video and review. We are considering the Wyndham Alltra, how does it compare to the Wyndham Grand ? Also, was it quiet at night and what was the caliber of the al la carte restaurant food and is the Alcohol considered top shelf as in types of Beer and Liquor. Thanks again, great narration as well.

Hi @dmur5828 thank you for stopping by the channel and for sharing some kind words. I love hearing that people are enjoying the content. I'm happy to watched my video tour of the Wyndham Alltra Cancun. I haven't been to the Wyndham Grand nor have I sent clients to that resort so it's a difficult comparison. I would suggest that the Wyndham Alltra does get quieter a night because the theatre show are in a converted conference room so the sound is contained. They do tend to have a live singer each night in Kaa the lobby bar but it doesn't go late and the volume level was perfect. That said, the resort doesn't shutdown early, you'll find people out and about until midnight or a touch later. They have a good variety of alcohol and spirits. Like all resorts they will default to giving you and lower shelf items but you can ask for something different. The better quality stuff can be found in the Alltra VIP Club Lounge. Are you able to drink the water in the hotel or did you stock up on water bottles?

Hi @candacesam7386 this is a great question. Thank you for stopping by the channel and for watching my Wyndham Alltra Cancun video tour. Even if a resort suggests you can drink the tap water I always suggest to avoid it. I do drink the water provided in restaurants as this is typically filtered, however, I avoid drinking or brushing my teeth with the tap water in the room. Hope this helps.

Is the hashtag room for only teens? I have kids that aren’t teens that would enjoy that room

Hey @user-um4hg2tx2j thanks for stopping by the channel and for asking such a great question. Hashtag is exclusively a teen programing space open to 13-17 year olds only. It is open from 2pm to 10pm. Hope that helps.

Can the grownups use the water park?

Hey @kaiballington55 great question. I never saw any adults using the waterpark but there certainly were parents assisting younger children enjoy the waterpark. I did see height and weight requirements/restrictions on the bigger slides but I can't speak to how well those were enforced. @SunnySouthVacations family friendly, not too big, and a beautiful beach. We are not looking at going until March 2025, so it's still a long way out. But I'm a planner. 😀

Hey @@rottab9397 my experience at Wyndham Alltra Cancun was not at all like what you've heard. My experience was a lively resort that had many spots for those seeking to have some fun, whether that was through activities around the pool or music. The resort also has a secondary pool at the back which I found to be quite calm and relaxing. In the evening time there is a show in their theatre but unless you're in the theatre you wouldn't hear it. They also sometimes have a live band in KAA but those shows don't run late and are quite enjoyable. Are other Cancun Area hotels loud. Probably, but I wouldn't say that this is one of those hotels. Hope that helps.
