I am the woman she talks about. I never knew she got my letter until this performance. I was in the balcony crying like a baby. I have met Wy several times since this performance and told her I was the woman. She said she still has that letter. I divorced that man. have remarried...she said she was glad.... She always wondered what happened to me and what my end of story was.

This song helped me out of an abusive relationship and getting on with life. I didn't just run, I ran 6 hrs away to a beautiful cabin on the shores of a lake in north Id. No electricity, no phone, no water. I sat on the shore, got friendly with the wildlife and I healed. I was 30 then, now I am 65 and I'm over it living a great life. It can happen to you. You don't have to live like that. God didn't make you to be abused by anyone.

I use to be into nothing but heavy metal, despised country music, then my Mother had tickets to a Wynonna Judd concert and asked me to go, I said hell no! country music sucks! then she threw the Mommie and me card at me, so I had to go! Omg it was one of the best concerts I have every been too! I've listended to nothing but country since! That was Summer under the stars at Harrah's Rincon in san diego! Since then have listened to nothing but country!
i was horribly abused by my first husband who threatened to sell me to outlaw bikers for $150..He held a knife to my daughter on her little 3rd birthday & she says 30 years later she can still feel the cold blade against her leg! She is in rehab, pray for her please! He died in his home all alone on July 17, 2017 & it triggered a lot in me. I put on a pretty party dress that he would've stomped my face in for wearing, a made a party cake ,& danced on my coffee table! But now, I'm OK, I'm passed it and I never again have to look over my shoulder, praise JESUS!

I was at this show. She was in rare form. At concerts, Wy used to pick a guy in the audience (like one who was leaving to get a beer), bring him up on stage, sit him in a chair and sing "That Was Yesterday" at him. Always funny. Great song by Naomi Judd.
That was my song for two many years till I got to tired of being the vicitim. Some people never make out alive. I was one of the lucky ones. Some never do. Lets pray for them that they have a good life.
I luv that blues edge she has. That makes me appreciate her that much more .. Haven't ever gotten to hear her low range n such a way .. Impressive. She has so many warm n growly , deep n gritty Vocsls going on .. Wow. Hines me a whole other respect for her. She's already a good artist. But feeling it and manipulating the voice and dynamics is amazing. Reminds me of another singer I wish she'd duet with. .. I'll look n send what they have ever possibly done. !!! Her high range isn't as much of the same wow factor for me but it's still great. She's s really cool chic !
