Spray and pray is a bad look for sure

Apply! Not sure what your point situation is but if you don’t have any points I would definitely start buying preference points this year. You can still draw without points but they help draw more regularly. The unit I picked was a low point unit, just picked a random one and went. Have now hunted that unit 5 times!

@@lomskioutdoors gotcha yeah 0 point been looking into buying point and understanding that part of it . Where is the best place to look and find the ones most likely to get drawn for

@bradleymaddox2312 WY game and fish website has all the draw odds, probably one of the best states for that. Just google WY antelope draw odds and look at the random draw odds for each unit

Sorry but I don’t want to publicly list that. It was an easy to draw unit though.

There was no “spray and pray”, the one was just over 100 yard shot, the second one was 350 yards which is very much in an effective range for the guy who was shooting. He got a little buck fever and made a couple poor shots. That’s hunting, it happens to everyone who’s hunted long enough. Go watch literally any channel who hunts for a living and you’ll find every single one of them has made poor shots.
