One of the best sports to see the differences in performance between males and females is downhill mountain bike races. They ride the same track, same gravity, same bikes, same suspension, etc. and yet you will see the last place finishing men going faster than the first place women.

The German movie they refer to came out in 1920, not 1923. Also, it had nothing to do with vampires. Further the starr of the picture went on to be one of the stars in one of the greatest movies of all time, Casablanca.
