I am Back, Gundam fans. Now I upload "Gundam in Bullet Hell" This video might contain muted clips. Just a reminder, This month I will do new content and it's about Gunpla Unboxing and Review. Stay tuned :)
Fun fact: According to JNTHED (the mechanical designer in charge of the Aerial, the Lfrith units and the Calibarn), the first design of the Gundam Aerial did have witch-related design elements but he was told to remove them.
There's a complaint I've seen a lot online, that "oh Suletta isn't actually a skilled pilot, it was Eri doing all the heavy lifting, etc." People who said that have clearly not seen the series though, because look at her in the Calibarn! She fought Eri to a standstill without a single scratch on her, all while under the stress of Permet Score 5!!
Even as far back as mid season 1, you can see she's got competent skills of her own in the fight with Shaddiq et al, when the Antidote shuts down the Gund Format stuff in Aerial but Suletta's still able to quite competently evade several attacks.
I've always found it hilarious that narratively speaking, this Gundam comes out of nowhere. Nobody even hints to its existence beforehand, but then suddenly in episode 21, they're like "We have to save the world. It's a good thing we've got this secret Gundam that nobody knows about conveniently stored away."
According to some info i read, the calibarn and lfrith were both prototypes researched in the vanadis institude, but the lfrith was ultimately chosen and the calibarn was put aside, so is kind of ironic seeing this as calibarn's payback for not being chosen
I mean you say that like the show didn't establish that the Earth government has control over every Vanadis Gundam and even gave the dawn of fold their Gundams, yeah, they would have a secret Gundam, all their Gundams are secret lol, but their existence is very well established.
@@Peasham Well, no. The only Vanadis Gundams that were well established as existing were the Gundams developed from the Lfrith line. The existence of the Calibarn was not established at all. Prior to episode 21, there was no information that even suggested that the Calibarn existed. Stating that the Space Assembly League seized control over Vanadis Gundams is one thing. Showing what that actually means is entirely different. Even though we were told that the Space Assembly League was in posession of the Gundams from the Vanadis Institute, we didn't know that there were more Gundams other than the ones shown in the Prologue. We only saw Lfrith Gundams during the Vanadis Incident, and the Lfrith project was their primary project at the time. We didn't even know the Vanadis Institute was running multiple projects at the same time, or that they were in competition with each other. Pulling out a Gundam that was never even hinted to exist beforehand and was also completely detached from the Lfrith development line as the only solution to a problem that was being built up to over the course of the entire show is the definition of an ass-pull.
Pretty obvious. You can argue that it's also technically a Tallgeese clone (White prototype MS that was super strong but also super damaging to the pilot, and a huge gun mounted to the MS itself
please do a vid for aerial/the gund-bits! i love compilation vids like this for the mobile suits in witch from mercury, we didn’t get enough time to enjoy them
@@lsop1342 but the reason you said it worst is because of Spirit Magic Teenage Robot but that genre has been used in the OG Gundam series and still used now
