I was in tears the whole episode! They truly put their entire ankles in this one! Cyclops bobbing and weaving with the Optic blasts, nigga WHATT! And then the Optic blast landing thrusters. My jam has officially returned.

I am so happy that X-men are back

The first 2 episodes were incredible!!! I absolutely loved this season premiere kick-off! I wasn't born in the '90s but my father kept a bunch of VHS tapes with a lot of the old X-Men: The Animated Series episodes on them and I grew up rewatching those same episodes as a kid. The action was fantastic, and I'm really digging the new animation style for the show. I just binged the entire original series, and I gotta say that this is a significant step up in terms of animation quality, of course. All the characters are just as charismatic as they were in the previous series, if not even more so. Hearing some of the classic voices return for their roles in this Revival series is so heartwarming and nostalgic. I'm also really digging the new blood when it comes to the new additions to the voice cast. The new voices for Gambit, Scott Summers, and Jubilee specifically sound really great and worthy successors to the original voice actors. I'm really loving what they're setting up for the overarching story of the season. I can't wait to move on to the next batch of episodes as soon as they release. Everything feels like a significant step up to a lot of the great things from the original show and this is clear proof that the people who worked on the show are true X-Men fans in grew up watching the original animated series. Ultimately, though, this awesome premier batch of episodes really reminded me how much I missed the X-Men as a family. It's been awhile since I really delve into the world of the X-Men like this and honestly I'm glad the show came out to reunite the fire I have for the X-Men that's some of the old fox movies might have dampered a little bit. Marvel's/The MCU's first crack at the X-Men was done masterfully, in my opinion, and I can't wait to see more! 10/10 Premiere for this show! 🎆✨️🙌

Roberto da Costa, AKA Sunspot, is a Brazillian mutant who is also an Omega Level mutant. Dude is basically the Sun on Earth.

This show returned at just the right time. The themes that have always been part of the X-Men are sooo relevant now with what's going on in our world today. The FOH organization looks awfully familiar and the whole series just hits harder now, especially when you're older and can appreciate it on a deeper level

The one show that DEMANDS that you don't skip the intro because the all-time great theme goes hard like no modern animated show does. Kids today growing up in a post-Cartoon Network and post-streaming world don't know the feeling of waking up on Saturday mornings to a bunch of TV channels fighting for your adolescent attention by dropping the most FIRE theme songs with their shows to hook you in.

I just wanted Storm to talk in caps lock while summoning some lightning. My queen out here casting arcane magic!

This was my Saturday morning too. Right after karate class I want to get home and watch X-Men.

So happy I met Lenore Zahn and Cal Dodd last year. God, hearing their char voices right in front of me, the inner child was screaming with joy.

The new guy is Sunspot, from the New Mutants! He's a very rich brazilian mutant. He once led a New Avengers team and used to lead the New Mutants. I think he also owned A.I.M. at some point. He's great! (I am biased because I'm brazilian buuuut well haha here we are)

To call this episode straight fire would be an understatement. Been grinning all day after watching this.

Over 60 years since they were created and these characters still manage to bring everyone together. Just amazing.

Valerie Cooper is the OG voice actress for Jean Grey. I was disappointed that she wasn't going to reprise the role of Jean but her voice changed too much. She's doing a good job as Cooper.

I rewatched all 5 seasons of the original show in preparation for this and I'm so glad I did. All I can say is this is what I was hoping the X-Men would come back with and I wasn't disappointed. Those action sequences were nice and I'm hoping you two enjoy the next episode as much as I did. Enjoyed the reaction 👍👍✌out.

The story of the X-men has always been about those who society fears rising up and not apologizing for who they are.

Cyclops is finally getting respect- meanwhile they’re writing Storm as a literal force of nature, like “yeah, maybe just hang back a minute Ororo, team needs a workout before you just obliterate everything”.

Missed in it all was the intro of the new mutants sunspot ( Roberto Decosta), the Spanish kid they were trying to protect....

Jubilee is my favorite X-Member! She is clearly the heart, compassion, and second moral compass of the team and the sibling relationship that she has with Rogue is truly heartwarming.

Didn’t mean this comment to be so long but the 90’s Era - early 2000’s Era was such a COOL time to be alive…Pokémon era(and eventually Yu-gi-Oh era), the first PlayStation, Gameboy color/advance, N64(the games around this time too), it was also a time for kids wanting to be Ninjas too(3 Ninjas, Sidekicks, TMNT movies, Surf Ninjas, ninja shows..can’t remember the one that came on Nickelodeon), speaking of Nickelodeon, that channel and its shows(Rugrats, Doug, Hey Arnold, Blues Clues) as well as Cartoon Network(Dexter’s Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow n Chicken), Wrestling during the 90’s - 00’s was Awesome, our toys(action figures, trading cards, board games, bop it), the music, foods and chips still being 25cents per bag…wow it was so Fun being a kid then…even teens/adults born at different eras praise how awesome the 90’s truly was. So much nostalgia in this comment, time to binge watch some greats moments.

My brain: Miss minutes is sorta a cartoon , It would be badass if some craziness went down in 97's world and Beast wound up transporting their cartoon versions too Loki season 3 during like the final 2 episodes of season 3.....Then!! ,when the shii hits the fan in the season finale of Loki , They wind up being sent into the 'real' world....then we get the Mutants movie. i've not been the biggest cyclops fan but they really did him delicious here. quite like it. and Mother Storm. yes. very yes. [also, unrelated - like your Remy, i have an Atom Indigo Lantern figure that has been in the packaging for like .... 10+ years i think; Joss Whedon once said it's great to have two figures: one to store and one you want to play with]
