That’s how I viewed it too. I thought Cap and Black Panther were trying to tell Kelly not to shoot down the asteroid. When Kelly closed the folder, Cap looked disappointed, but I felt like he and Iron Man could have forced them not to do it also. But if they did that we wouldn’t have gotten that awesome ending. Lots of this is for plot.

& Cable is now stuck in 1997 so he may just start the New Mutants > X-Force team with Sunspot & Jubilee (replacing Boom Boom) or Jubes can be with some sort of Generation X team under Emma's Massachusetts Academy & both teams or just 1 can go to Russia after battling Omega Red & recruit Colossus & Magik & train her to port to rescue the time displaced X-Men. I mean they could do ANYTHING at this point & we will be hollerin' & LOVIN' every second of it.

Dust, Shadowcat, and Colossus are all on that board, too. I don't recall seeing Archangel die on Genosha, so we might still get him--my reasoning being that Cipher, the African American girl with the dreads was seen here with Alpha Flight, so she clearly survived Genosha.

Archangel didn't die on Genosha. Banshee got incinerated for sure though.

Archangel is not dead, he is missing like the other X-men, which can only mean two things, 1- he was flying near the meteor when it was teleported, 2- Apocalypse captured him or he went after Apocalypse, because he is since 92 looking for him for revenge

Well both Archangel & Banshee were Horsemen in the comics, so Apocalypse could rummage through the debris & remake them with Gambit. There are still multiple pieces of current and upcoming Marvel media that use T'Challa, including a crossover game where he was one of its first announced characters and his own solo game too, so while we may not know exactly why he's not in this show (yet), the ban you're talking about isn't entirely true.

That's the reason I was told by someone who worked on the show.

The Fantastic Four cartoon (as well as the Iron Man and Hulk cartoons) of that era isn't canon to the X-Men & Spider-Man animated universe. They're their own separate continuity/universe altogether.

Spider-Man met the 90s cartoon version of most of those heroes in his show and the rest had met each other in their own. It was ashared universe but back then. If you don't believe it that's fine.
