I don’t get this one thing if Spider-Man the animated series is part of the same universe around the same time as the x-men series. In one story Captain America sacrifices himself so the red skull remains in the vortex. The six forgotten warriors I think was the story name in Spider-Man the animated series. He does show up later in the version of secret wars but at the end everyone is returned to the same place and time with no memories. To me that’s a big continuity issue. I haven’t seen anyone address it yet.

Yep! Almost, they can use Hulk for instance, but they still have legal issue releasing a solo Hulk Movie. So it's fine, but it's not totally perfect.

You hit the nail on the head when you said that there may be people who had children who watched the cartoon. I’m a 61 year old woman who read the X-Men when I was in college. My children read and watched the show growing up. Imagine how my heart warms when I see my grandchildren now watching the show!!! The 2 year old even stops what his is doing when he hears the theme music come on. 😂 (in his genes) ❤

It's not because there aren't other stories, it's because this channel was not originally targetted at a comic book fan audience but rather an MCU fan audience that has since become more open to other Marvel properties. He's referencing Civil War because it helps MCU fans by creating an analogy they can understand.

My prediction is the final tease is Apocalypse with his new horseman. Gambit as death, Madeline Pryor as famine, Archangel back as war, and maybe an up powered Leech as pestilence. I also think we are building towards Onslaught and Avengers vs X-men in next season

Cyclops also used the phrase 'Never again.' in reference to the Genosha genocide - the same phrase coined and repeated by Magneto a few times in the series. He then goes on to say Magneto said this would happen all along. Definite signs he's being written towards the direction of 'dark Cyclops' taking on Magneto's ethos and mantle - which I'd love to see unfold in X97.

I think everything after Endgame is leading up to the X-Men, even in Winter Soldier that (probability war ship machine) Civil War (the Accords), Secert Invasion ending with the president declaring war on alien, super beings, The Eternals etc..even after the this "multiverse saga" ends.. after tge FF4 debuts, i wouldn't be shocked if we get Bolivar Trask to begin the sentential program..

I watched X-Men with my boys back when it aired and we were all upset the way it ended. It is so good to see it come back and as if it never skipped a beat. Two things my son was waiting for up until he passed 16 years ago have now come to pass...both thanks to Disney(in a sense)Kingdom Hearts 3 (KH3)and X-Men the Animated Series(now dubbed '97). He might have enjoyed this X-Men show(I know I have for sure)especially when most of the original voice actors returned but I don't think he would have been impressed with KH3, a little underwhelming it really seemed. Your reviews are awesome, thanks for putting in all this work. You sing pretty good too and it's nice to see you don't twerk(sorry, I couldn't resist the rhyme).👍🤜🤛💖🔥

Aha!!! Some of the kids are appalled when I claim that Iron Man didn't sell a lot of comic books once ago. I still remember how confused Stan Lee seemed to be years ago at Batman being a billion-dollar franchise, but he couldn't sell Iron Man like that. But his attitude was so great, I became a big Stan Lee fan because of it. Until this day, that's my favorite memory of Stan Lee, the jocular attitude he had over Batman.

Awsome video :) Can't wait to see the finale, & hopefully great cameos will be there. I mean full characters will appear not just parts of them. Like that cameo in the original X-men TAS when Spider-man's hand & web appeared. The chaarters themselves will show & will be a good part hopefully. & I do hope that they will pay off that tension between Rouge & captain AMerica they showed us. Plus. That is probably ONE reason James Gunn is in charge of DC now. DC's animated universe has bested Marvel in so many ways...now Gunn and Feige are good "friends" and in a sense, Marvel has access to all the tools at DC, possibly. It sounded like a good theory in my head...lol
