Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Apocalypse is by far one of the most powerful mutants in X Men universe! he is huge, powerful and strikes fear to any other mutant... and they chose, with all due respect, an average height guy to play him!? I don't think it is simple as bad or good. Is it bad to hate people that look down on you and go as far to kill your people because their different? TheCruzan26 I am sorry, but magneto is very, VERY sinister. He will kill people when and if it suits his needs, while at the same time he hides behind his convenient excuses. There is a huge difference between Charles work, who defends people, mutants and humans alike, defending their civilian rights and Eric's uncontrolled bloodlust. Charles believes in co-existence of both species. Eric wants to kill all those humans who disagree with him- and many are innocent too. In the first x-men film, he tried to mutate the entire human population. The irony of this! He suffered under the hands of nazis-fascists and in the end he became exactly like them, acting on humans behalf without asking them first. Tormenting them. Taking away their liberties, their freedom, their right to chose..A tyrant. In the second film, he controls the mind of a mutant, through the cerebro's enhancement, to kill all humans. In the third movie, he still tries to manipulate Jean, into eradicating humanity, while during the first class series, he forces mankind to develop the sentinel program and now, in apocalypse, he tries to help En Sabah.. destroy everything.. Could he POSSIBLY be more evil?!

This movie is actually the beginning of the Phoenix saga. In the beginning of this trailer, you see Jean having a dream about the destruction of the world. But that isn't En Sabah Nur (Apocalypse) causing it. Its actually her. When she becomes Dark Phoenix. SPOILER ALERT. When she is fighting apocalypse, he says "all is revealed" meaning Jean will be the true apocalypse.

Apollyon done some very self centered jealous things but there are worse figures then him around. not even Michael seems keen on a one on one fight with Satan.. He usually is described as having a army or he trolls Satan by reminding him the lord would rebuke him. Christ might not be the creator btw.. Daniel Gashi He was alright, but I never got that scary feeling from him in any part of the movie. The Sentinels from Days of Future Past were way more brutal and intimidating that any form of Ultron. I still liked the movie but Apocalypse will be on a whole other level. It's debatable but for me Apocalypse is right up in the top 3 Marvel villains besides Doom and Thanos.

+chewface Tha's what he's always done in the comics. Apocalypse in the comics has the mutant ability to fully control every cell in his body, so he can do things like not need to breathe, be immune to poisons, be ridiculously dense so attacks have little effect on him and pretty much instantly regenerate from attacks that do, and change size at will.

The best scene of movie is from 39 to 50 minute, I've almost cried! It would be the the best movie lately made. Version which I found is decent good quality of video (720p as I can see). Crazy to think that Bryan Singer would put something like that in his movie since he is a devout Christian. And yet Joss Whedon's 'Avengers' and Zack Snyder's 'Man of Steel' have the most Christian content even though they are proclaimed atheists. Not much of a mic drop considering that those who praise Singer's work have to accept that he esteems the Bible above all else. And even the atheists Whedon and Snyder purposefully display their intrigue with Christianity, even more than others' films.

I think if people find the idea that their religious figure of choice was an imposter offensive, they should just assume Apocalypse is lying. It's not like anyone in-story can prove it one way or another. Still, I'm surprised the filmmakers are taking this angle - usually commercial media avoid such potential offense. The Stargate series took care to show that while the various aliens had been the gods of ancient polytheistic civilizations, they hadn't had any influence on religions that are still widely practiced. If I remember correctly, there was even an episode where a character says point-blank that none of the evil Goa'uld could possibly have been Jesus, because they wouldn't have conceived of the ideas of Christianity (which is laying it on a bit thick, but I can see why they'd include that).

Some people hated this film but I do really really love this! Why?? They showed here how each x-men members do their powers and how powerful they are on it's own (and the fact that kurt and Peter is new but still got a lot of exposure). Plus, the cameo of Wolverine! I also like Charles emotions towards them and to other students, ready to sacrifice himself. Overall I LOVE IT!!! This is my fave x-men films along with Day of Future Past,First Class, and Logan.

@Luke M I know a lot of the hate is the way Apocalypse was designed. He looks nothing like the villian we loved from the comics or the 90s cartoon. Most people who grew up with that show waited almost 2 decades to see Apocalypse on the big screen, and when we finally did, instead of the monster we remember, we get blue Ivan Ooze. We were hoping to see him literally larger than life like he has always been, but the only time they did that in the movie was in a mind battle.

+Jaziah Jones That was a big part of her arc in the last two movies, though. "Mutant and proud." Unless she's actively passing as a human, she should default to blue. Look at the plane or hallway scenes. She's in good company. She should feel comfortable enough to go blue, but Jennifer Lawrence doesn't like the makeup.

I'm a deaf man now. But, I wasn't always deaf you see! I have a horrible disease called Minere's disease and Usher Type 3 Syndrome. This destroys a persons hearing through out a persons early life until they no longer can hear in their young adult life... It's a horrible and devastating feeling knowing that you'll go deaf but I've accepted my fate and I'm OK being deaf now! I've watched all the X-MEN movies in my life and I've read all the comics too! I've always wanted to be an X-MEN because they are so awesome with their powers!! When this movie is released, I am going to go to the movie theater and I am going to watch this movie with my chin up and watch it like I can still actually hear! This may only be a movie but this gives me so much hope that maybe one day, I would somehow get some magical power and I would be able to hear again. I would use my power for good. I wasn't always a good person either but since I have went deaf, I've become a better person! Please, if you have a disability, please know that you are not alone. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise because if they do, then they are not worth it to be in your lifes! Always smile. Always look up and never ever forget who you are.. -Abalam M. Anderson

*Xmen: Mockingjay Part 2* Lol, giving screen time and importance to a character because of the actress playing them can make for a silly movie... Katniss will be shoe-horned into every scene, like she was for the previous film. This looks good, except for Miss Everdeen seeming like the main character. Hopefully its just the marketing department capitalizing on her fame and featuring more of her in the trailer.

Well DOFP is probably the best Marvel movie ever made and they didn't shoe horn her into the story. the story felt right that she was in the middle of the two ideologies of Professor x and Magneto. She represents the struggle between those two characters.

*I didnt know 'Jennifer Lawrence was a mutant'*. Must be a new character they decided to add just for this movie. Such a shame they didnt stick with the familiar *BLUE* Raven Darkholme / Mystique. She was such a signature character with a distinct look that I'm sure I and many others appreciated. Oh well, maybe *Mystique* will return in later movies... Good trailer though.

In First Class she had a major character developement where she learned to accept her true self, but they ditched all this in Days of future past because they gotta show that famous actress more. A bit of a shame.

The best scene of movie is from 40 to 48 minute, I got goosebumps watching that! It will be the the best movie lately made. Version which I found is decent good quality of sound and video (720p, I think). As I can see, there are available French, Dutch and Spanish subtitles. This was one of their absolute best movies. I would give it 4 1/2 stars at least. I was surprised at how well done it was and have lost even more faith in the so called critics who say it was bad. This was a very good movie.
