So everyone was prepared to let quicksilver die, but once raven is about to die they finally do something. (What a bunch of a holes)

Imagine how different that would of played out. If Quicksilver would of told Magneto he was his dad in the previous scene. The moment Quick got hurt here there could of been a flashback to his wife and child at the beginning and then him sending the locket through Apocalypse neck catching him off guard then allowing the group to attack followed by Jean's Phoenix form at the end. There would of been closure for Magneto and his family he still has and those he lost.

I appreciate that these movies treats a speedster how they would actually be like. Quicksilver has no problem freezing everyone and saving the day easily, rather than drawing it out like a certain show.

Quicksilver’s powers capabilities are unparalleled. The directors showed only 1% of the capabilities. There are numerous ways quick silver could have taken down apocalypse in a microsecond

this is a clear case of plot-induced something idk. First of all, Quicksilver was way too fast for someone to see him or maybe even think that he is somewhere. So it's impossible that Apocalypse actually knew where Quicksilver was, and even if he somehow managed to, Quicksilver is in already other place. So there's no way that by using sand powers in just one point, Quicksilver could be catched. That, however, would be possible if Apocalypse used that power all over the area around him. But he didn't so bruh Second, by simple laws of physics you can tell that, at least while moving fast, Quicksilver has superstrenght. This sounds like a poor excuse but please remember he throw a man and a matress together about thirty meters in the air. Not just that, but his speed gives him quite the momentum. So, even if the sand somehow managed to get him, even the simple act of try to keep running would break the cement-like material. And if he wasn't able to do it first try, he could just keep trying. Third: This is specifically Plot-Induced Stupidity. Quicksilver does not need to run to use his power, he can just use it and that's that. If he had one foot trapped in the sand, that's just one foot. He could move the rest of his body all over the place, to dodge and even to keep punching Apocalypse. Now, if he failed at keeping Apocalypse away, Apocalypse probably wouldn't be stupid and eventually discover that Quicksilver can't move his foot. Direct hit at that place, it would have ended the same. I'm not saying Quicksilver would beat Apocalypse, just saying that at least he wouldn't lose.

Realistically, Apocalypse still shouldn't of been able to actually hit Quicksilver as his mutant power isn't just super speed, it's also super strength and superhuman reaction time.
