wolverine isnt even in the same league. wolvy is my all time favorite superhero but he would never stand a chance. magneto is a omega level (planetary threat) mutant because he can manipulate not just metal but the entire magnetic spectrum. including electronics, he can fly, and literally pull building down on his own. wolverine would never be on the same level.

The irony of Magneto attempting to kill Wolverine is that if he succeeded, the timeline would have been reset since "future" Wolverine would have disappeared having not survived to reach that point in time, and Magneto would be back in prison since Logan's trip back in time never happened.

Any change made in the past is permanent regardless of the person who was sent back later dies. It’s kinda hard to say what would have happened had Logan died in 1973. However, all the events in the past of the movie still occurs

I feel like starvation would be pretty screwed up for him as well. And that would definitely kill him, even it would almost certainly take a lot longer than it would for the average person. You can survive for like a month without food. I'd wager Logan has so much energy stored in his body for his healing to even work that would take him at least a year. And thirst would probably take at least a month.

I totally agree brother, but above all it makes me angry at the fact that after the final battle, Charles never used his brain to look for Logan and see if he's okay or anything, I mean, Logan just asked Charles to please find them and reunite them. the xmen, and knowing that logan never ages, what was it difficult for charles to look for logan after days of future past?

magneto knew that was wolverine to. It should be very hard- near impossible to swim with that much weight in you. Part of why Wolverine having an adamantine skeleton is scared of water.

@@TheMandalorianRedeemed and guardians of the galaxy also came out that year but even after 9 years worth of marvel movies, the winter soldier remains to be my favourite marvel movie ever with The Dark Knight being my favourite DC movie and I think that's down to no super hero moves like laser beams and super speed and what not. It was mostly realistic action. That's why I loved them both. But days of future past is my second favourite marvel movie but I love the fact that they both came out in 2014

Considering Wolverine is almost invincible and this is a PG-13 film, they did a good job with the brutality in this scene. Having rebar twisted inside you and then left to drown over and over would be excruciating.
