Shame he didn't make any attempt to actually sound like Magneto with his obvious Irish accent.

Too bad that didn't save Azazel, he's been confirmed to have been killed by humans in 1964 and won't be appearing in Days of Future Past. I can't help wondering how they took him out. Angel Salvadore I can see how, she's rather weak, but Azazel's death is intriguing.

***** well he can teleport anywhere he wants but that's his only power. In the movie u see beast catch him and throw him away and in the stress of the moment he teleports behind beast to counter attack but beast saw that coming and knocked him out. he probably took many humans with him but someone most likely outsmarted him.

elgato9o Very true. Angel and Banshee were easier to kill. As for Emma she was vulnerable to shattering after Magneto cracked her diamond form. He even said to just give her a gentle tap if she transformed again. Someone from Project Wideawake could have easily snapped her head off.

I liked Last Stand more then X men. I liked X2 the best though. X3 botched the Phoenix Saga, yes, but it had a great storyline with the cure happening and all. And the first X men is, fine. That's all it is, fine. So, it's a fine movie, compared to a half great and half terrible, and I want great.

applying enough pressure should ake a liquid solid because the molecules in the liquid wil move much slower but it takes an insane amount of force

elgato9o it's almost impossible to actually compress liquid as it will typically change its shape to fit nicely into whatever you're using to compress it. The only possible way would lie in hydrokinesis, which lies in sci-fi (but hasn't been disproven, so it kinda depends on your viewpoint)

Jay StCloud Yeah, I wasn't suprised at all to see Jeremy giving it "A Good Time no Alcohol Required". Unfortunately it wasn't great and it was also a bit disappointing since First Class and Days of Future Past were excellent movies, but it was an okay to decent film. I hated how much screen time Jennifer Lawrence got tho, you can clearly see that it's just because she's famous and has been in The Hunger Games.

You've got to remember though this was a time when differences were not very well accepted because of prejudice. So I think Beast would say something like that because for the time that's what the mutants would be thinking to themselves. But it still wasn't a nice thing to say to Mystique. No wonder she turned bad.

X men 3 is not an 8.8 but I agree with most of these. The Wolverine was very pleasant surprise ! Loved that movie.

Always look at a movie as a movie and not as a part of a franchise,X-men first class was really good,I didn't liked any other X-men movie because they were so cheese and they made it much less cheese in this movie,I really don't care that they changed some of the details because over all it was really good,its seem that people are finaly making some decent superheros movies like Batman,Avengers and any other movie that led to the Avengers,X-men first class and others I forgot to mention.

SerbStar2011 it isnt really a part of the same universe because there are some things that dont line up with the first ones so you can see it as another multiverse so that it makes more sense with the days of futures past

I think it was done on purpose to reboot the series. I prefer this over the first two films anyway. Origins didn't happen in my perfect world.

sounded knight Something I don't get is, why do people consider X2 the best one in the series? I consider First Class the best one yet because it ingeniously touched historical fiction ground. The stakes were much higher and audiences could relate to the crisis better because it had been a true event in our history. Most of the core cast got a balanced amount of screen time, we got to see genuine team work, and most importantly Mystique was a real character who grew throughout the story, instead of just eye candy. Also, First Class gave a much more convincing argument for why the conflict between humans and mutants. Sebastian Shaw was a superb villain. First Class had more convincing and profound pathos; when Charles helped Erik find serenity, that was one of those moments that made me shed tears. And when their friendship ended you could feel the emotions and the sadness. In X2 when Jean died and Scott grieved her, I wasn't convinced he loved her. They had zero chemistry. Funny enough, Charles and Erik had more chemistry on-screen than Jean and Scott. Their bromance was more believable. If Charles and Erik had been a romantic couple, their awesome chemistry would have made it work beautifully.
