There are allot of games that also need a remaster like Def Jam Fight For NYC,Power Stone it's so many good game s that need a remaster and yes I do agree.
I have it. Its pretty fun! Some characters even have the original 2000 X-Men movie skins, and others have their original comic accurate skins.i will say there are 2 Psyloches in the game, which honestly made 0 sense. One was Psyloche and one was Betsy Braddock. Same with Jean Grey and Phoenix. Another, there were inbelieve 2 or 3 Sentinels in the game.
Damn I remember my friend had this game and we used to play it together no idea the roster was that deep. A lot of them didn't get much mainstream attention over the years but are getting it now in 2024
I never knew this game existed and for its time it looks pretty fun tbh the animations are solid af and the roster looks dope this needs a remake or pt 2 the X-Men universe is a gold mine
If I remember back when I played this as a kid, Mystiques moveset was busted good. Easily one of the best characters to play as, though my personal favourite was Havok and Dark Phoenix. Blob is essentially Goro from Mortal Kombat with his stomp special moves, which do not care where you are on the screen. If your feet are touching the floor when he stomps, your ass is going skyward.
@1:05 I was always a notorious button masher when it came to fighting games growing up. And one day, my friend and I were playing this and I somehow was able to do this move every single time I did my button mashing. He got so mad that he rage quit. lmao.
I can’t believe we lived in a world where this game’s supers and ultimates (the red glow ones) were actually more impressive than Mortal Kombat’s fatalities at the time
Awesome content 👏🏼😊. I have genuinely been looking on the internet for over 15 yrs for X-Men Mutant Academy for GBC all super moves. I own the game. I've spent hours upon hours trying to use their combos. I can do some of them. I just love the visuals a lot of GBC games. Would truly love to see theiroves someday. I own X-Men Dimensions too. Storm is my favorite and I can do most if her combos 😁. She's my main on GBC and I cannot do anything but her jump cloud, grab lift drop move, and summon a lighting bolt. Supposedly she and the ither characters have way more moves.
There's the upcoming Insomniac Wolverine game, and according to the leaks it will lead to an X-Men game... but with a way drastic and kinda worse deviation than the FoX-Men movies did...
Juggernauts pose and supers are kinda upsetting (he looks like he is either taking a dump or about to do an unstoppable run, given the lack of running, I guess it's the former)

You are so right. I remember the move inputs being so hard. I also just figured out that there are SO many moves are not on the movie list. Kind of defeats the point but whatever.

They just had to make Mystique a combo character like Beast and remove the fucking gun, we know shapeshifting isnt for dueling but she has some others features.
