This is probably my most flown XP11 plane. It's so pretty and so alive with the REP. Very excited to have it in 12. This is the type of module depth I have waited for before diving into 12 :D
Were it not for the alternator that you’ve forgot … nice flight all in all….question: is the electric system fully simulated? ( with the alternator off all the electrical devices looked working properly anyway…)🤔🤔🤔🤔
Have just upgraded to XP12 recently but didn't know that the new version of the SF260 had been released, so many thanks for your video and for letting us know! I always found the SF260 in XP11 to be more than a bit slippery and trying to slow it down on approach could be difficult to say the least! Thanks again :-)
@@Q8Pilot Yes, I probably agree I think. I enjoy the default B58 with REP, and the F33 as well. But yes, this one's really nice. Only thing I'm not that excited about is the instrument panel, the layout is a bit all over the place. Makes me almost want to try the glass cockpit :D
@@weswheel4834 I know what you mean, but the layout is typical of the the era and intended use (military trainer). Stick with the analogue panel, it will make sense eventually.
@@dragoclarke9497 Yeah, I've done a few flights, I just don't find it quite as aesthetically pleasing ;) A bit like the Russian aircraft in DCS :) (although I do like the Mig21, getting off topic).
I have the SF260 in X-Plane 11, it is the one I enjoy flying the most for it's feeling as close to reality as you can get in a PC flight sim. By the way the MP (Manifold Pressure) on take off seemed low, (20"). Full throttle even at that elevation should be around 28+ inches, giving a much more impressive rate of climb.
Wow, that's A LOT of water. But coming back to the plane, still the best and most "alive" feeling GA plane in Xplane/MSFS imho, although the C310 from Blackbird is coming close.
