You say, "You can know who is driving into your driveway or who is walking across your driveway." However, you can't know who it is without it having a camera or it having the ability to connect to a camera . Just speaking for myself here it would worry me to death if i received a notification the alarm went off when im not near my home. It would be good to have when you're at your home, but it's really pointless and stressful if you're not home. Without a camera, there isn't any kind of way to identify the person that triggered it in a situation where you had missing or damaged property .
I am running into range problems. My house is just too far from the main gate. It shows one bar and crickets on the alarm when I tested. The same for the mailbox sensor. The terrain has little elevation gain but trees. The base station is in the window. I contacted support about a repeater. We shall see. If the devices themselves were repeaters I could just add some additional devices
A word to everyone, this is a great idea, but it sucks. False alarms, & range sucks. If the company would build a better transmitter it would be a great product.
