They already did. This guy has a partner named "Runabout." He's jet black with red tinted windows. Definitely a great mold to convert into a K.I.T.T. if you're so inclined. Just be ready, these guys are around $100 a piece.
Pick up his partner Runabout. He's black with red tinted windows. You'd have to fan mod him for the front "sweeper" but that's half the fun of doing modifications.
X-Transbots figures are so cool in my opinion! They basically give G1 characters decently detailed real life versions of their vehicle modes, where they could almost be mistaken for an officially licensed model car, but they transform into a pretty near accurate recreation of their cartoon robot mode, even with all the weird animation design quirks usually intact! And while the transformation is usually super complex, and can seem a bit overkill at times, and they tend to rely a lot on fake parts, it’s usually not to the extent of 2.0 masterpiece Bumblebee! Unfortunately I never owned any 3rd party Transformers at all, let alone X-Transbots! But watching review vids like Emgo’s are the next best thing! If I were to buy a 3rd party Transformer toy, X-Transbots or maybe FansToys might be my first option! If anyone wants to suggest a certain figure from either company or a different company, or a figure in general to start with when looking for my first 3rd party Transformer, please share with me!😁
Thank you for such excellent reviews and your JTI are invaluable. I wouldn’t be able to transform half my Masterpiece/3rd Party figures without your help… Please please consider the X-Transbot’s Constructicons, they’re really good and I need to transform Long Haul/Big Load!
I have both Fast and Fury and they are exceptional figures. X Transbots did it right with these two. Fury has a few more problems due to probably being hurried for shipment, but they are easily fixed. I bought a couple of sticker kits for them(gold pinstriping and orange stickering around the head to imitate the original g1 figure for Fast and red pinstriping and a cover sticker for that stupid hole in the robot mode window for Fury) and they look phenomenal now. I highly recommend them. Heck, you can get the Fury for less than what the mainline deluxe class Runabout goes for at this point.
The complex design and engineering is impressive, but that only makes the flat top edge of the rear wheel well cut out all the more maddening. I'm completely fixated on it!😂
There's no need to flex that hood panel. Before tucking that hood panel in, you needed to rotate the engine down forward (if that makes sense) as far as it can go, with the hood cover opened up, then you can rotate that panel underneath, then close the hood panels and engine together, and then rotate the whole thing 180 degrees. I hope that makes sense because it's the same for their Fury.
This is the funniest off brand transformers name, Some guys get Howling meteor (which conceptually is very close to starscream) meanwhile this guy is FAST!
Hey, this was an awesome review. Runamuck is definitely an awesome looking boy in both modes. This and his partner is definitely going to be one of the first figures is get when I start my collection. I know you don’t like people going off topic, but I was wondering if you are thinking about reviewing the X-Transbots Omnibots. They were some of my favorite obscure bots. I think they are cool concepts and are also cool looking vehicles. X-Transbots made Masterpiece versions of them called Fioravanti (Overdrive), Yaguchi (Downshift), and Maedas (Camshaft). Only their Overdrive is out, but when they all come out, I was hoping you’d review them. Again, sorry for going off topic, I'm just genuinely curious.
Why do so many people not know about his partner Runabout?!! Everyone asking for a K.I.T.T repaint, he's called "Fury" 😂 yeah, fast and fury. Insert "family" joke here. 😂 Anyway, he's black with red tint on thw windows. Very possible to fan mod him into K.I.T.T. now we need a '57 Chevy version. Great review Emgo, as always.
@@moonwhooper yeah I've seen that. Apparently he's some kinda lotus espirit turbo or something? Whatever that is. I'm not a car person so, they both look close enough to me. 😂😂
Seeing how this figure transforms and holds together in both modes, it almost feels like a sort of 'redemption' for XTB. I might pick this one up. @EmGo: a quick question: when do you expect to have CangToys Stegsarow reviewed? I'm really looking forward to that one!
I can appreciate the car mode and the engineering on this figure, and using pearlescent to get the two shades of white is a cool idea. But man I just do not care for that robot mode design. Its not the toy's fault, I dont think it looked good in the cartoon either
And two front windshields on both sides as well. I know we don't display the back but they should have made an effort to at least hide the back windshield a lot better. Rather than that it looks great.
The two gas caps is extra amusing when you consider that generation of firebird/camaro had the gas cap behind the rear license plate lmao i used to feel so cool filling up! ...Which was often :( such terrible mpg
One day, in the far far future......X-transbots will learn how to make a fluid and effortless transformation. They generally nail the look for both modes but the process to switch between them is always a chore. Still......this looks better than their Kup.
I think I'm gonna have to buy this due to the fact my first muscle car was an '84 trans am. Wouldve been sweet if it was a 20ft tall robot but then I'd be Sam n it'd be bumblebee. N Sam sucks. Besides all the incredibly hot woman, he sucks.
