XAML Islands 

Great video. I didn't know acrylic effects work in XAML Islands. There are still bugs though (and I was able to reproduce). Notice in 7:30, when the app is first launched & focused, you have to click away to unfocus and click back to refocus before the transparency takes effect.

Robert Green is always ironic and full of sarcasm. :) Remember him from WPF tutorials back at AppDev WPF Using Visual C# 2010. He would be ideal guy for marketing!

Now, show me some binding between WPF and XAML Islands.

I have a custom widget using Direct2D exposed as HWND. Can i use this inside a XAML Island? I want XAML navigation, menubar etc. around this widget.
