@@thedoc225ify I think Pep Guardiola's tiki-taka was very entertaining to watch. Like a well oiled machine with these high level players. Once he left, the style started deteriorating into the infamous sideways and backwards passing tiki-taka that bored even the audience.

He plays very well, and is one of the most reliable players I've seen recently, and has given a lot to the club. This current teams plays good football. Better than last year, but that's expected. You can't measure it against how the team played during Pep's era, as OP said, that is a team that comes together once in a blue moon.

Yep, we had Pele than Maradona then Messi. We had legends like Zidane between the greatest individual players. I am pretty sure we will see another Messi in the future too maybe 20 maybe 40 years but we will. HOWEVER, stars will need to align to have not 1 but 3 legendary players with 100% chemistry between them. I am afraid we will never see a Messi-Xavi-Iniesta trio this century. What Messi does, what Maradona did was out of this world but it is not unique. It is the talent everyone aspires to have but when this trio played together, you would watch a football only this three players could make happen and did make happen. We will see another Xavi maybe and another Iniesta but this type of football was but a burning inferno in the endless darkness that is teamplay. I will miss this plays even more than the magic Messi pulls out every now and then.

This comment doesn’t make any sense. Firstly the composers didn’t necessarily play orchestra instruments. I’m pretty all three u mentioned were piano oriented. So unless they’re playing a concerto for three pianos (which would probably be very clunky and messy), I don’t know what u mean. Secondly, the three composers u named represent three completely different styles of music. It would be like bringing Pep, Conte and Sean Dyche together and asking them to make a team play. Having said that, the analogy could work if u said it’s like hearing a piece composed by someone with the mind of Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Beethoven combined.
