They should also add to the commercial: "And our facilities never get outdated because every few years we blow the place up and build it over from scratch!"
You know... the funny thing I find about this commercial is that.. isn't Xavier trying to disguise it as a normal school for "gifted" as in disguise it for people that are intelligent so it doesn't alert the general public? So this commercial is outright just saying "hey were all mutants here, increase that blow up rate to every 2 weeks."
Oh because she was used just right in the previous ones ? Come on, Jubilee is great to create insight in the groups, they don't need that in the movies where Magneto, Charles and Wolverine are the only characters.
0:16 Hi! I'm Jubilee. I am fox's version of Disney Star Wars Fin. I start off with studio promise of being more relevant to the course of the series. But am immediately pushed to the background where I'm hardly utilized or rarely seen. Welcome to the corporate induction of you favorite childhood franchise!
Article about viral marketing for X-Men: Apocalypse www.geek.com/tech/viral-marketing-for-x-men-apocalypse-may-be-better-than-the-movie-itself-1656384/
A guy from my class in telepathy 101 fainted, it was a though week, Apocalypse attacked us and 3 students died, however professor Grey was nice with that guy and let him skip the classes after that, ah, the ol' good days...
I’m currently going through classes and let me tell you they had to fire proof most rooms bc of...well....*spontaneously combusts and rises from the ashes*
Back then when you would call the number at the end stan would answer and say something like Xavier's school is to busy and he'll reach back and call later
DejaVoodooDoll I grew up in the 80's. It's not 80's bad acting. It's asian bad acting. They also should have used an actual vcr instead of a filter. It looks terrible.
@@xm_heecka.laddder.job_mx5962 you mean for the few seconds screen time when she hang out with Scott, Jean and Kurt and then she just fainted during the attack from the soldiers is it ?
I loved it here, i graduated last year and i highly recommend Xavier's school if your a mutant like me: Fair Warning: the school might explode and get raided by the army and monsters every few months, but thats ok we have quicksilver
*Mutant watches this: wow that seems great! I should go there... *arrives at school: to find ALL guardians gone, school on fire, children literally watching as a man gets metal ripped from his skeleton by a purple British man!
i saw it yesterday, the feels, tells the back story of the college, so awesome, quicksilver's HILARIOSE scene is worth admission beleive me. so many nostaligic moments and insights like wolverine as weapon x baby!!!
That is so insane; they got all the '80s tech and fads completely accurate. It actually made me blush, seeing commercials like this again. I wonder how they made the video look washed out and the sound muffled, just like old TV shows? That's some amazing "retro work".
If you call the number, it goes like this: "Hello, you've reached Xavier's School for gifted youngsters. Sorry we can't take your call right now, but please join us on May 27 as we host a very special and truly marvelous open house show. Thanks for your call and have an amazing day....(He said a last word I didn't understand). There you go!!!
@@yseson_ she was born in 1997 so possibly in the next couple years. Whenever they make the movies she'll totally still be able to do the role perfectly
+Andrès O basically the same thing. Thank you for calling xaviers school sorry we couldn't get your call. Join us on may 27th where we will have special/ marvellous event.
I'm not too bothered. I think they brought her back for a reason. I'm thinking that we will see more of her in the future movies since they're supposed to focus on the kids.
Wonder why they didn't give Jubilee a significant part in the storyline. Her character is well known to most 90s and early 2000s kids from the animated show, plus her comic character was always well-received.
I was just thinking that, but you are one of the few who commented on it. Maybe a lot of people don't realize it. If they did it I figure the number one comment would be about it.
10/10 would totally recommend. Life is hard when you're told you're an omega level mutant who can warp space and time but Charles made it so much easier. First he calmly helped me suppress my abilities. Then he lied to me about my abilities. And finally when they eventually manifested as a cosmic being older than time itself and I obliterated a few civilizations, he leisurely "put me down". Now I'm being resurrected so all good! P.S. Metal claws to the chest hurt
How bold of you, Fox! Over 50 secs of Jubilee and it only took like over a decade to allow this to happen. Whats next letting her have 5 whole whole minute in a movie? :O
Loved it there. Graduated a long time ago, I’m now a teacher. Would recommend. But warning for if you’re a telepath: Magneto’s thoughts are very loud so mind that. It’s not very fun hearing him constantly think about Xavier but if you’re not a telepath, good for you.
+Wulf yeah that is true. i doubt apocalypse will make a lot of money tho. the x men movies haven't been making much. deadpool made the most with 800+ and days of future past made second most with 750 mill. apocalypse might not reach a billion then
+Sahil Prasad You mean WHiH Newsfront? It wasn't only for Civil War. They also did several news videos for Ant-Man, and the news tickers on the bottom referenced stuff throughout the MCU including Daredevil, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Stephen Strange.
+Jason Norris I'm thinking the same exact thing: definite 80's style commercial. And since he doesn't age, Wolverine woulda been a perfect pitchman for those classic 80's Lite Beer commercials, joining Madden, Uecker, Rodney & the rest of the Lite Beer gang!
