i like the kinect just for the simple fact that you're not spending money on repairing controllers (unless, of course, you accidently hit someone and end up paying a medical bill as opposed to the move having to pay for new wands AND a medical bill). other than that they both seem pretty amazing

Kinect is going to win, it brings something new to the table, as much as I love the Move and how you can play some really good games on it, I think using motion will be the next big thing, like playing FIFA and passing the ball literally with you feet or running around in Assassin's Creed or something and actually using your hands and feet to climb around, but using a gun or sword in these games would also be a nice touch. I think using a gun for COD would be great then use kinect to move.

I love kinect and move features of PS3 and XBOX 360. Not just fun, but also healthy. It gives you more physical moves that not just sitting down a couple of hours because it's not good for your health and physical motoric. Just like WII too (includes WII U)! But you need to buy extra add-ons, it's IR camera

The Wii is still superior: The controllers don't cost much by comparison, you don't need too much space to play the games (I've done Skyward Sword and Mario&Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games while sitting on the couch), lighting has little to do with gameplay, and it has a handful of quality games (especially those that require motion plus, which isn't that much more than a regular controller).

I would say 4-1 to Kinect, it may be a little bit slower to react but not much of a difference and can be updated/programmed to function better in many various ways to be more precise. Even the standard Xbox360 controller is much better than PS3's standard. Believe it or not but even the graphic is a little bit better on Xbox 360, it uses better shadows and lights and this you can look up for yourself. Not that it matter both consoles is obsolete today.

honestly to get real tracking you would need 4 sensors, 1 on each side of you and front n back all being next gen power and able to sense your entire body no matter how close or far you get from the sensors

Sony actually stated that they were working on the Playstation move before the Wii remote they just didn't finish it and release it in time thus giving Nintendo the upper advantage.

yes it does, although not very well. You can't make movements that are too rapid, and it doesn't read movements too precise.As long as games don't require you to do movements like I mentioned it works alright.

Wow. I'm surprised that Sony fanboys are actually defending the Move like it doesn't rip directly from the Wii and like it doesn't cost a lot for multiplayer enjoyment. Trust me, I love Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, but my friends and I tried to play a bunch of Move games only to be disappointed with the inaccurate controls, and we had a mess with calibration. Thus, we normally resort to the Wii and Kinect for motion controls.

I agree with the outcome, 3 to 2, the only game I liked on the Kinect was Dance Central, mainly because Harmonix made it. But I do prefer playing Kill Zone 3, Little Big Planet 2, and Sly Cooper using the move. But I can see how the Kinect wins this, it is cheaper, kid friendly, and somewhat technically advance.

... Which PS2 Eye Toy is an old technology from Kodak...the digital camera. Fun Fact: Around the same time the Eye Toy was released, there was a console called XaviXPORT. Which is similar to today's Wii.

I have kinect and i played it for 1 month. Because its not that funny how it looks. At first when i played it was so great but then i saw its not that fast. Camera has delay and often does something different than i did. (Maybe i did many mistakes but i think you understand me ;) ) i havent tried move before so i cant tell you which one is better

1. some people dont have internet or they have really crappy internet so they wont be able to play their games unless they get better internet. and 2. sharing games is a big thing for console users just look at gamefly or redbox its fun because if you want to try a game, or your freind wants a game, you can just go out and rent one or lend one to your freind. but now people have to pay a fee or share a game to a freind once only if hes been on your freinds list for 30 days or pay a fee thats why
