Used games stores here in Japan are getting hit hard since covid restrictions lifted, tourists have definitely pushed up the prices of many things and sometimes there are massive gaps in the shelving that has been probably cleared out by someone. As someone who wanders around them on lunch breaks a few times a week the difference when tourism began again was startling thank god i already got my retro stuff already.
That's crazy cause I always thought they had a rather small selection haha. But compared to others I guess it's dang good. It's also very close to where I lived so I walk there often to have a browse
Your videos just hit the spot! I'm also collecting lots of 360, PS3, Wii, Wii U, DS/3DS, mostly local deals and finds. Both for personal collection, for fun and for a low-risk investment. All around win!
Seeing all those lime green cases made my heart race. Also, just wanted to say thank you for mentioning Splatterhouse, and Shadows of The Damned from your first Xbox game price video. The long loading screens sucked, but I had so much fun playing Splatterhouse. I'm still working on the storyline in Shadows of The Damned, but I'm excited to see it's getting remastered.
You are very wise for taking that advice and getting them while they are still cheap! Also, I dont have an Xbox One but I hear the backwards compatible 360 games will load faster on the newer Xbox consoles (never tried it myself but it makes sense!)
yep awesome series i was really lucky with marvel ultimate alloance gold for 10 bucks CIB. fun fact: The game never had a PAL release but the game is regionfree! was surprised that i found it here
100%! Get em now while they are still CHEAP! But also as a side note sometimes a PAL version of a game is not rare while the North American version of the same game is rare (easiest example is F1 2013 for 360 and PS3 is an ULTRA rare in north america but very common for the PAL region)
@@amirulizzat7395 That depends on why you're collecting them. Are you collecting them to be like stocks and shares to sell on later or do you just want to play the game legally?
I get the feeling man, on both accounts. From the joy of finding those rare editions and looking into them, it's esp. awesome if you find them by mistake! To the creative tasks... I'm behind on mine too. Looking forward to your next videos as usual.
to me the only xbox 360 games were value are the ones that run on series x, finding a working 360 in years to come will be like sega saturns, my disc tray broke on mine recently. in fact i dunno how easy it is to repair 360 consoles.
The good news is 360 consoles are insanely common and they printed countless millions (and fixed the ring of death) so you can find an unlimited number of slims floating around in great condition for dirt cheap. I bought mine dirt cheap on FB Marketplace myself.
