This isn’t happening because Xbox said, “Please.” It’s happening because Square Enix finally said, “Okay.” And just to reiterate: these games still won’t sell well on Xbox.
@NinjaDefiler dudes feeling the need to validate themselves saying jrpgs releasing late for xbox won't sell well when they struggle to hit 1 million launching on ps, switch and pc is crazy 😂
That show was an 8/10 for me but i’m not as old as king so for him he probably looks at these games and says this is old stuff i only saw 7 games that were new in a show of 20 titles but for me everything was new in that show
@@xboxfrontline I think you misunderstood when I said guys like king. I was speaking specifically about long time multiplat guys. For you and me, these are not new things. We've played most of these games and gone through them. So yeah, we weren't particularly impressed with most of what was shown. I am excited for what this means for XBox though, and happy for those, that are younger and XBox focused, having the opportunity to play these classics. To answer your question though, yes, I do get hyped up for the re-release of a game I played back in the day. Especially if they juuge it up a bit. Like DQ3 remake. I was hoping for more. I expected more. Something XBox specific. Especially since XBox kinda hyped it up and had me waking up at 6am to watch this thing. Think how dope the announcement would have been if they pushed the cloud aspect of Game Pass for all these JRPG's and a XBox specific controller for cell phones like the kishi or back bone. Missed opportunities...
Completely agree. I think Xbox TGS 2024 is pretty good. The games on the show are good for the japanese region audiences. His take is understandable but totally from the American's point of view. Man, Metaphor and Yumia marketing are the games of the show, man.
@@xboxfrontline thank you. King for your reply. Yes, it was lacking Japanese exclusive games. However, I don't think Xbox was telling the Americans audience to tune in TGS 2024. I know that you play all games. I personally don't think the Japanese gamers have seen those games shown on their show yet. Did Japanese gamers saw Xbox showcase in June? Is localization dub is preferred way for Japanese audience to consume western games and media. That's what I am not sure about. That's why I think we can't judge this shown from our point of view. I also found what Xbox TGS 2024 was good enough. Yumia was a surprise for me. The 5v5 shooters looks great. And Metaphor, this is the first time big Altas IP come to Xbox day and date. Let alone marketing right. I just felt it was good. Not as bad as you viewed.
