They just announced the next big starfield update and wow, the game looks a lot more appealing now 🥰

I'm so GLAD I decided to get an Xbox this generation! I've had every Xbox console since the beginning but got rid of my Xbone in 2015 so now that I'm back into the ecosystem I'm blown away at how much better it is than the PlayStation ecosystem. It's hard to describe the excitement of being able to play GTA 4 with HDR on XSX and the backwards compatibility is just a small blip of what makes the ecosystem great imo. Another brilliant thing is purchasing digital games from outside of the Microsoft store (although games in general go on sale more often on Xbox store than PlayStation store) but the ability to pick up a title from CD keys is amazing, this is how gaming SHOULD be especially in the digital era. As far as the future is concerned, I truly believe Xbox is on a path that'll transcend consoles and elevate themselves to be one of the greatest gaming content homes of all time. I believe Xbox will continue making consoles (30 million + XSX|S consoles is nothing to sneeze at) so the fact that they're making another console makes sense and if they end up making a handheld console that can play my Xbox library it will be a day one purchase for me 💯 percent! Long Live Xbox happy gaming ✌️

XBoX is a powerhouse these days, people usually only talk about "the next games" and forget not only XBoX has a TON of upcoming games, they also have many games that are constantly upgraded and improved! Look at Diablo 4 next season, its going to be really good. Sea of Thieves massive support and PS launch. Starfield ongoing huge updates and upcoming DLC. Fallout 76 is also getting a massive upgrade that even has a new map. Halo Infinite is still constantly updated with new maps and modes. WoW has War Within in the horizon and several other modes, like Classic (that is constantly updated) and the recent mode Plunderstorm. Its crazy how massive XBoX became in the past 7 years, and I feel they are going to make sure everybody understands that in the next showcase, showing XBoX, Bethesda and ABK ongoing and future content

This will be huge I think COD will have its own show maybe I agree with you on that, but I am excited to see what is going to happen.

What's with the slow rollout of ABK titles to Game Pass? I know they can't do every game in a month but just Diabolo 4 this year so far? What about Crash, Spyro, Tony Hawk and many more?

The third party may include STALKER 2, which they say will come out this year. If it is close to being done, I'd expect to see some gameplay and a release date. I also hope that during the CoD showcase they drop the back catalog on Game Pass.

I would hope a release date for Fable 4 and SOD3, but that would be out of the blue to see Lost Planet 4 with a focus on multiplayer like 2 was.

Hopefully its good. I haven't even turned on my Series X this year, while my PS5 has been busy with FF7 Rebirth, Helldivers 2, and Stellar Blade. Im even thinking of trying out Rise of the Ronin.

When black ops was first announced they did the redacted stuff its a staple for that subtitle.

I hope they announce on June 9th that WOW War Within is shown and on game pass. Plus, Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred and Overwatch 2 shown, too.

I think it’d be smart to include the next CoD on gamepass for Xbox and pc while still selling copies on PS5 and switch if it comes on that.

The only thing I really want to see from the Activision portion of the showcase is the Transformer games, Deadpool, and the Activision Spider-Man and Wolverine games hit Backwards Compatibility. Anything besides that will either be irrelevant to me or extra/bonus, depending on what other games they mention.

That’s worth a follow for sure.

Of course hardware sales are declining, they teased new hardware for this holiday.

There’s so many game that have been announced from Xbox over the years I want updates on like Fable Blade State of decay Perfect dark id like to see something from gears and a new forza horizon hopefully set in Japan but that’s me being hopeful lol

remaster the old games, tell the studios to get to making a new engine and do so right after you finish your turn making the game. game engines like theirs apparently take a year to flesh out.

To be honest I really want to see The Coalition do something new. They are one of the most skilled and well performing studio's but I do feel the Gears franchise is starting to hold e'm back as in it ius very hard to surprise and innovate within the boundaries of a decades old 3rd person cover shoouter.

MS should create a console bundle that includes COD for free (or cheaper than buying them individually) every single COD release if they want to try catch up in the HW sales dept.

It's not gonna be Monster Hunter wilds because that came out like now. It's june 7th and june 9th is 2 days away so... yeah

We need call of duty: finest hour to be made backwards compatible.

Microsoft just needs gameplay, pure and simple. No bullshit CG or "in-engine" trailers, just gameplay.

Xbox has gotten a lot better with showcases and directs. We've gone from only the big news drop in June and literally nothing for the rest of the year to developer directs, partner previews, ID@Xbox showcase, and the big June Showcase. That said they still desperately need to give us a roadmap or some type of method of delivering mini monthly updates. Xbox as a company DOES NOT have the nostalgia and brand power of Nintendo & PS to be as silent as they are. Its especially bad when Xbox has the most rumors and least confidence and most hate in the industry.

Too much politic todays inside xbox devs that hold then back. Except for the one that already aware since the beginning like Double Fine, other newly recruited studios that need to conform with xbox value will struggle to implement and surely that will make the game developments also on struggle

Xbox console sales are down ~30%, after they were already down 30% in April. Microsoft has been well behind its competitors Sony and Nintendo for years now in terms of hardware sales, and now it’s clear it simply wants to transform into a different kind of gaming company entirely.
