I have an Xbox Series X and I love it, but it will be my last Xbox if the next version is digital, regardless of graphical power. I’m a collector and without discs, there is no reason for me to have an Xbox when every game looks better on my Laptop if there’s no discs to collect and no Blu Ray Player for my TV and no backwards compatibility with my original Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Xbox Series discs that I have so many of. I’ll be pissed if I can’t play any of my games, especially when the main factor that made me get an Xbox Series X was the vast backwards compatibility with every generation. Sony won’t do this, but they already fucked up with the PS3 backwards compatibility and I’m already on my last nerve with them.

I think it makes sense: trash console with trash UI, in a trash version... gets the design of a trash can 🤣 (the video is otherwise great from the technical PoV, as always).

So now my series X I got goes from mini fridge to mini round trash can? Them taking the disc drive away is a big mistake! I see why cuz there next flag ship they want us to go all digital, so this is there way of getting us ready for that. But what about are 4k blue rays? what about are games we’ve collected over the years? That have virtually no resell value! Now we have to just throw that all away 🤦🏻‍♂️there’s no way to play them so what do we do now!
