The southbridge can be replaced, it is a nor flash ic that is married on the southbridge board

You're right. But, on that time I had no one to do it, nor I was doing it. Since then, I bought it for spares, sold the PSU from it and bought 2 Xbox Series S. One has good APU - hope, and we've removed and reballed it already. We plan to place it on the 2nd Xbox Series S which is banned. Once that one is done, remove the Southbridge and place it on that Series X.

yes, agree. If that would be a PS5, you can change the southbridge, but I don't think we can do it on Xbox. So, we have to learn to overcome it if possible. Maybe supplying what's missing when and where is needed and cut off the short from where it's coming would be a solution?
