When you compare battery capacities, you should simply compare the Wh ratings, not the mAh rating. The AA batteries have 1.5V and say 2500mAh (that's x2 batteries = 3V @2500mAh) while the battery pack has a 3.7V internal Li-Ion cell (which will actually go up to 4.2V when fully charged) at say.. in this case @1400mAh. The Wh rating of a battery/pack will tell you the actual energy capacity from fully charged to discharged, while the mAh will basically tell you that said cell will discharge in an hour at the specified current.. (that does indeed give you an estimate of capacity, but it does not tell you the full story, nor is it a realistic use case) The Wh rating also does not care about the discharge rate/current or Voltage variation from full to empty of the cell/pack. For special applications you'd want to know a cell's/pack's max discharge rate for ex. which is a ratio of nominal charging current "C" ex. 1C, 2C, 5C, etc.

Wouldn’t it be 5000mah at 3V still is way better than 1400mah at 4.2 and like you said it’s just an estimate of how long it will last. In real world scenarios in which I tested the two EBL Batteries last way longer

@@TechReviewsTV I'm not aware of 5000mAh AA's (also I notice that by MS's own Wh rating, the actual cell might be lower capacity than what is rated for at 3V, but that is irrelevant that would have to do with their charging circuitry efficiency and losses) All I'm saying is that it's easier and more reliable to just compare the Wh ratings of the cells/packs than the mAh ratings which might vary/"scale" with power drain. For 2xAA s just add up the Wh rating and for the battery pack just take the rating of the whole pack. Oh and since we were talking rechargeable AA's, those are rated at 1.2V, not 1.5V.. Judging capacity ratings by the Wh rating avoids confusion like just this.

Ive used them for years theyre the same battery packs when using the oem rechargable battery packs for the xbox one just different charging cables preowned are cheap af and so are series controllers that are untested i spent 92 dollars on 4 series controllers

Agreed. These things are absolute garbage, my battery pack won’t charge too, and that’s not with heavy use either.

I have this because it came with the remix controller which came out a few months ago and I was happy with it as it gave easily 20 hours per charge but I accidentally used a different cable 1 time and it stopped working after only 2 - 3 months and will not charge at all now. So I couldn’t recommend it from my experience

How are you only getting 10 hours of battery? You have a defective kit. I play about 4 hours a day, and have to charge once a week.

Microsoft always discontinues this kit because it sucks and they know that. 1400mah wouldn’t last that long unless you don’t have vibration turned on or don’t play fps games. For most people it doesn’t last long. There are other bigger capacities that last 50+ hours

Way too overpriced for buying a cable basically. I don’t like cables and if you have a play and charge you’re gonna be wired 80% of the time and at that point it’s just a normal cable

Getting a rechargeable better with the $60+ dollar controller why would you not like that? lol, Yes Please give us a free battery for the already ridiculous amount of money that is eventually going to be spent on what a new gen gaming console entertainment system demands for the best experience! Saving $25.00+ dollars goes a long way for any downloadable content or physical game copy a gamer might want or even need!

Will the charging connection be disconnected automatically after full charge? Or does it continue? For me, after 4 hours of charging, the battery was full, but when I connected the cable again, the charging connection continued.

I have the same problem. Did your Play & Charge Kit ever charge fully i.e. to 100% while you were playing ? Have had kit for a few days. 1st 2 days on a brand new Xbox Series X console & controller, it did charge to 100% but now it charges to 10%, then stops, waits for a reduction of 2% or 3% and then starts charging again but still up to 10%. Has Microsoft helped at all ? Any help appreciated. Thank you.
