I've just purchased one of these just wanted to ask is the double sided sticky pad that goes on the chip super sticky or would it be better to get an alternative sticky pad and use that instead? Also how many mm did you put the strip above the fan?

Mine auto mode always defaults back to the color teal after a few minutes
