Correction to one of the patreon questions, I believe it was the first question. Xbox does in fact have cross buy with more than just first party. It is unfortunately a "case by case" basis, but I bring this up because of the game Sega game that was brought up. Xbox in-fact has a partnership with Sega that involves some day1 GP releases, but also gives you cross buy entitlements

I would love a remake of Halo Combat Evolved but would be upset if they didn't conclude the story from infinite. I don't get the hate for that game it's awesome.

The college football point is exactly why Xbox needs to splash the cash for GTA 6 marketing rights, next gen only, the most affordable way to play the new GTA it literally writes itself. If Xbox / Microsoft don't do it, they are clueless
I play games mostly for story and enjoyment...its an added bonus to get achievements but locking them behind difficulty annoys me. If Flintlock has locked earning them over difficulty, I'm less likely to play it. Control did the right thing, great game, got difficult, couldn't get past this one bit for ages, then discovered you could change things in options by giving yourself more health, power etc, So I gave myself a little more health, took a few more attempts but got past the big I was struggling on and got to enjoy the rest of the game rather than giving up entirely...I grew up in the 80s, 90s, I was never amazing at games and those games, you get stuck, that's it...some you might be lucky to find cheats to levels but most didn't, you get stuck that's it and these games were so much smaller, could be done in a few hours, so many games I never got far in or never finished and it sucks big time. Takes the enjoyment out of the game. If I were a game dev I'd rather people enjoy my game and is able to finish it, rather than get stuck and never bother to finish.
The console market's not growing is a bull💩 argument, there's a market of 250 million consoles, that Xbox has a tiny share of, they could grow that, it's ridiculous that a trillion dollar company is out spent on marketing by Sony, spending 80 billion on publishers, wasn't about growing their console share, it's about them growing their third party games market share, they're a software and services company, not a console company.
I really enjoyed the Halo TV series and S2 was definitely better as a fan since Halo CE on Xbox (my favourite Halo). I do agree there was some odd decisions/choices in the show like with the Makee, but the helmet had to come off. It would be quite weird with the Chief with his helmet on the whole time but not his team? Also does he just wear the suit all the time, when he eats and goes to sleep? It just doesn’t make a lot of sense to keep it on and the first time he takes it off makes sense for John. Also consider in the games he’s always about to be or already in a battle/war so of course always needs the armour and helmet on! The TV series is about events prior not in war time.
I enjoyed the cast from halo tv show I liked the show but the problem was some the writing dialog was poor.. but visionally it looked very good.. I reckon paramount cancelled because Sony is trying to buy paramount they wouldn’t want to be paying for Xbox show.. Paramount is struggling financially at the moment…
I am a huge fan of the original Halo game. Give me a Dead Space level remake and I would love that. The RE remake philosophy you espoused would be ideal.😊
So here's my idea for the Halo. Game, what if they did a combination between the story of Halo reach with the noble team and hill company evolved? But they changed things up a bit. Your main character could be master chief, but instead of it being a specific name character like John and Spartan 117, your character is based off the custom creation mode that you do similar to inhalo reach that can work in campaign and all forms of PVE and PVP?
At this point as a Halo fan I just want 343 to fully commit to their vision even if they piss different types of fans if they keep trying to appease everyone and just fumble like they have then just give the franchise to another developer who is willing to be bold
The concept of early access in gaming makes no sense. If i buy a pre-construction home and move in a month early, I am doing so knowing they are still working on the house. There might be landscaper outside in the garden, painters in the guest room, someone in the basement installing the washing machine etc etc. But in gaming they call it early access and the game complete. If it really was early access then it'll be missing content that would be ready on day one. Maybe a certain mode is missing or in a sports game rosters aren't complete, some niche players missing. That's early access.
I wonder why they only remake fairly modern games, there was a game called the last ninja out on 8bit and it was labelled a masterpiece back then but never got a remake, baffles me as there’s so many huge ip’s untouched

Rand, I totally agree with your dead franchise take. We need a Dead Space 2 remake. I would also include L.A. Noire. I would love to see a sequel to L.A. Noire. Jez, StarCraft was horrible. Let that franchise stay dead😅
Microsoft may not be giving the marketing department a lot of money to play with but look at the results Microsoft gets whither the little of money they give. You don’t need a console to play. Then everyone is saying zmicrosoft is getting out of the console business. My point being why would zmicrosoft give marketing more when they F up with what they got for a budget. Microsoft needs to fire the marketing department and start over. Or hire some Gen S company and let them do it.
I can understand not "wanting to see Halo 1 again". But I would LOVE Halo CE's multiplayer with a modern coat of paint. It was the most "social party multiplayer" of the whole trilogy

All wrong about college football discussion. College football has been gone for 10 years. Now it’s back. People love them some college football. Now they can get it. What’s the cheapest way to damn I need a next gen console. Oh S I can’t get it on a Series S for 300.00. I’m sold. It’s called a casual. They probably play college football and CoD. This is great to educate a new breed of casuals what Xbox can do for them. Inexpensive console and they are in the party. Also this is where marketing should be all over this. Yet Xbox marketing are morons. Late to the party and will cry about needing more money when they don’t seize the opportunities like this when they show up.

@@liamflan9553 nah it's legit . And we can see it . They don't want people paying $10 to play the new call of duty so they made day one only in ultimate and raised it to 20. All that everything going up that why they raised it is bs cause everything been going up . They just raised it a lil while ago . And the main reason I think it's not doing what they need is the sub count . And I think no marketing and low console sales is the result of that. Cause gamepass is everywhere been everywhere. Subs still not going up . And the 35 mil includes core so its really less but Ms don't tell anyone anything. That how u know it's not doing well .
The changes are not necessarily indicative of non-sustainability. Companies will tweak in an effort to improve numbers even if the numbers are good. If the term "New Coke" doesn't ring a bell with you, then research it. It is the absolute best example of this syndrome. These changes can be fantastically successful or they can be utter failures, i.e. New Coke, or they can be anywhere in between. 😊
@@MonsterXero423 well when it relates to a service like gamepass . And these prices changes and change in tiers are very sudden . Prob means it's not making the money it's suppose to . Because we all know if it was they wouldn't change it. Not like it has 60 million subs and they raising it cause of inflation. The sub count hasn't moved and now cod is going in there. Because they haven't put much else in there. Think that the reason .
