Audio is much better, i can hear on my shitty speakers even ;) Do give the sharpshooters a shot, sure it takes some tactical planning, but i've seen them be clutch players in other playthroughs! Also i feel that rushing and splitting your team too much was not in your favor there. RIP those two soldiers, there were great things ahead of them.

I feel shame for how that ended. At that level we should have had each soldier with a medkit. Live and learn I guess. RIP Jyn Erso.

I normally wouldn't prioritise saving civilians during ADVENT retaliation missions.(IK that sounds messed up but that's war...can't save everyone).I would rather have the enemy take shots at them for a while than risking my own troops.Your first priority should always be to clear out the area of all hostiles.....rescuing the civies comes second.

A youtube channel called "Soka Gensou" is currently doing a deathless 100% run of Xcom 2 on the highest difficulty.That guy is a beast in this game and you could check him out for some useful tips/tactics for your own Xcom run,if you want.

As for "The Lost",they are squishy and pretty easy to deal with.As long as you know when to make your guys reload and then take shots....you should be fine.Keep your troops in cover and on high-ground and they should be able to wipe out wave after waves of Lost without any issue.No need of grenades either unless a whole swarm of them is bunched up together.Overwatch can also be useful here although there's a 50/50 chance that your troops might either miss or hit their targets during overwatch.

I love snipers, but they're very vulnerable and map layout can really affect their performance.

I just can't afford someone that can't shoot every turn when we only have 4 characters and movement is key early on.
