My decision to purchase the Hellcat over the p365 was the way it fit in my hands. Springfield just gets ergonomics. Not sure how many thousand rounds I've shot through it but not one jam/failure and that includes their new 15 round magazines. I trust Springfield with my life and they've been really setting the bar lately with their product line.
@@JohnDoe-bp6xe that couldn't be your real opinion lol it was a light jab attempt at a comeback to something that hurt your feelings I get it. as a matter of fact I have all of that. conceal permit and I can shoot. I have big hands and small guns are for me. it's sad cause alot of real men that review guns don't carry subcompact guns they might have 1. I mean if your hands are tiny then it's okay to carry one is all I said. whats crazy is I have a subcompact 45 I just don't carry it but mine is big enough to actually grip it.
This is the first gun I have ever bought a released this early. I always wait for the bugs to be worked out. I just couldn't stop myself this time. It seems flawless! I can't wait for my wait period to be over! 10 days, Washington state sucks!!!
Add a talon grip and it really stays put in your hand. Muddy river tactical makes a amazing kydex paddle holster with optic. Friggin love their products.
Going to the range tomorrow with mine. It will be the first time shooting it. I have 2 ranges on my property but going to a inside range. Don't have my DRAGON FLY on it yet but soon to come
I’ve been a Glock 29 man for 15+ years, but this gun has replaced my trusty G29. It’s just a little better in every way. I even shoot it better after only about 75 rounds!
Looks great ergonomic wise. I like the 3.8 size. It appears you were holding the pistol better in the latter part of the video, especially when controlling the muzzle flip.
@@pt6998 I bought a Vedder for the .45 and it also works great. My assumption was the 45 and 10 were slightly larger frames than 9 as they are in glock world but maybe it's only in the grip?
I want to like this as a carry pistol. I really do. I just can't. Recoil management is the issue. The followup shots that don't hit render this pistol useless.
XD Mod 2 in 45 ACP is a very nice shooting gun. I would recommend that if you are still in the market. Makes an excellent EDC. Recoil is very manageable.

It's not bad at all. I shot mine yesterday and the recoil felt like 9mm to me. My new EDC. I forgot I was carrying it the other day with my comfortable leather IWB holster.
Were you guys not watching the video? That thing kicks like a mule. I would guess most people in the comment section who gush over it haven't even fired it.
