XDefiant is "DEAD" makes no sense to me 

I do agree there needs to be more content pretty soon and desync is still a major issue. I feel like rank flopping with no restrictions really hurt a lot more than intended and later this season they’ll add it but it should have been at launch, not weeks or months later post rank release.

@@SkateClipsAndTips I wish it was a shorter season for sure. 4 months is pushing the limit with not much content planned. I give them the benefit of the doubt and think they're so focused on fixing the major issues first so the content will be better with no server issues, at least that's what I'm hoping

Yeah it doesn’t seem like the devs are even working on it. There should’ve been several hot fixes in the last couple weeks.

I can agree I keep expecting updates once a week or at least close to some time frame of that. I have a lot of faith in the long run which I completely understand people not wanting to wait weeks/months for fixes.

It’s just so weird to me everyone can call COD trash as they release a recolor yearly at this point. Recycling content and bringing “new content” like the prestige system that they took away from us. It’s insane how blind people can be at times. This video wasn’t even planned to be a topic of XD being “dead” it just happened so I didn’t bring up cods “new” content lol.

@@procarson they lost all their players is the shitty net code hit reg shot around corners. Yeah it works for some people great. The game works great, but not for everybody else. I look at it kind of like stadia. It works for some people, but not enough to keep the player population alive that they may bring back a lot of people, but it’s hopeless. @@procarson they had the same issues over a year ago when they had it on beta with the net code. It’s been over a year and now it’s out. It still has a problem looking a dead horses ass man. It’s not happening they could fix it then they would’ve but they can’t.

Appreciate it! I understand people wanting more content but there’s gotta be some give and take between the devs and the community. People sure it would’ve been nice to have EVERYTHING at launch but they would then complain that “there’s nothing new” and the cycle would repeat. I remember older cod days where the team would never patch anything and just let it ride for the entire lifespan of the game and players still loved it with all the flaws it had. I’m excited for the future of XD and I’ll be waiting for it!

New cod being 200+ GBS is insane to me. I will never install warzone again when I play BO6 to make sure I keep some of the space on my pc.

I can’t even remember the last time I’ve played Cod to be 100% honest with you. I’ll prolly play some BO6 just to see how it feels in the beta and such and if I like it I’ll put it in rotation but the newer cods have always been a massive disappointment to me. I hope I’m wrong and cod become fun again but I have my doubts. Also higher ping lobbies because you’re doing good?? That’s wild if they’re doing that on purpose.

Noted camera size is something I’m always worried about I’ll think it’s not sized right while editing but once I get like 4+ minutes in I don’t want to resize everything💀

I feel like adding SBMM after marketing the game without it would actually kill it. SBMM has supposedly been in Cod since the original MW up to todays titles. Cod 2019 is when SBMM started to get talked about and now it has been ramped up an insane amount because it helps Cod sell more bundles in the store but it divides the entire community. Everyone is playing a different game. The lower skilled players stay in the same tier never seeing what it’s like to play against other decent or good players. Same with high tier players, they all stay playing the cracked out YY spamming players, keeping them all sweating because if they don’t try hard to do good they’ll get mad. I’ve had plenty of games on XDefiant where I’ve slammed players, I’ve also been on the receiving end of slammings and think wow that guy ran my pockets he’s better than me and move on. Having a pool of players that are good decent or bad in my opinion is the best experience. It’s a natural experience. Now SBMM should be in ranked a million percent that is when the game should try and put you against your skill or better no matter what but that’s totally separate from pubs or it should feel that way. Pubs on cod feel like ranked to me a long time ago.

The only thing I can see good criticism for is the net code and servers for sure. Even people who love the game can agree that needs some major work. It is supposed to be more of an arcade type shooter though. The art style isn’t a serious tactical shooter, movement and skills make it the arcade style shooter it is. Everyone has a counter to it and at times you just have to out play someone using their abilities. Nothing feels extremely overwhelming because of how long it takes to get ults to me at least. I know everyone won’t agree with that and that’s okay with me🫡

It’s just factually not dead 😂😂😂. It’s not xdefiants fault twitch dictates your opinion. Lobbies are super quick to find. They’re fun. It doesn’t have a huge population but 95% of games don’t! But bro enjoy valorant cod and Fortnite bro everyone is so proud of you.

@@BloodRaven-ih1rz has not been my experience but I believe you. Even so, 5 min queues at their worst is hardly a dead game. I play this game called rounds. its a 5 dollar indy 1v1 arcade game it barely has 5000 players and I get queues and can play it whenever I want. I think we have to reevaluate whats it means to be a dead game.

I would love to be wrong and see XDefiant do better than BO6 I will hold my breath though I just don’t see it happening. They have room to improve a lot and honestly I want longevity. As long as there’s a good community behind it and fixes for servers and the other major issues I’ll be happy.
