The point of heavy barrel is for the 2 shot kill if you’re getting those 49 damage hitmarkers If you hit them in the arm or the lower body, it’s a 3 shot kill, and on phantoms (the class that dominates zone control/escort), if you hit an arm (shooting them in the side) or the lower body, it’s a 3 shot kill (69+49 = 118 damage). So it’s either “use cleaner” or “use heavy barrel” ima try the rapid fire when I get it in one level though
I feel like I rarely get 3sks, vast majority of the time it's a 2sk with the MK. Don't get me wrong when I am forced to get a 3sk it's annoying and can sometimes lead to a death/ruined clip but that's very rare for me personally. I would say as long as you can avoid limb shots the MB/RF combo is vastly superior to the MB/Heavy.
I 100% always recommend iron sights if you're comfortable with it. The extra attachment comes in clutchhhh. With the MK 20 I feel like there's some annoying visual recoil with the iron sights so I personally rock the Red Dot but I may try the irons again soon
