I can say with a straight face this boss fight was one of the best rpg fights i've ever played. Never honestly seen the hero almost lose in the end just to be saved the way sora was saved...riku made the fight worth the effort lol
First time i encountered the Infinite Missile move... I was like WTF?! I got this far to get raped by an OP shit move like that!! I smashed my CD game into pieces and had to buy another CD to beat it again... NOSTALGIA
This is one of the best designed boss fights in gaming history... The journey leading Sora and Riku throughout the KH's games to showing their strength alongside eachother, it was brilliantly structured.
This is honestly my favorite boss fight ever, it is the most epic thing ever, with your best friend fighting above a black and white abyss with like piano playing in the background creates such an epic scene.
"We shall go together" I wish I could say that the way Xemnas does, and actually toss people into the air with white and black lines flowing from my hands...
I always love the part at the end. Xemnas is just so badass. With all of the lasers, and that insane laugh he does. Gawd he's a sexy beast of a man. He needs to be a hero. D:
i remember when it took me a whole day to beat xemnas. this brings back memories. i especially love the part when you get to play as riku for some of the battle and then he says "is that all you got"
Just a funny detail I didn't notice before, but now that you do, gives you a idea how much they planned ahead with the story. Its a neat touch that little detail, and makes for a good bit of foreshadowing for those who notice it after playing BBS.
The final attack that Xemnas do was so outstanding. Man I mean it's cool to see how Sora and Riku fight off all those lasers. I mean look how fast they were moving.
that part after he does that laser spam in total darkness where riku protects sora and sora uses rikus keyblade with his own to kick xemans' ass was freaking awesome
This was the sickest boss battle :D I was literally smiling like crazy during the laser part, sure it was a button smasher, but it just made it feel epic :D
I always loved the kh games! Great stuff from square. Ive been stuck here for ages since my disk broke exactly here! haha and I havent tried to replace it since I was too busy
I love how the clone Xemnas was going "GAURD!" but was just helping you by pushing you forward towards them..I remember I was playing this once and I got to that part ran towards Xemnas and then got pushed all the way there by the Xemnas clone and I did the reaction time was like Thanks Xemnas
@ThePistlwhipr No you're not the only one. I was going to make that exact comment! On this particular run of the boss the music hits the beautiful climax at the exact right time. Xemnas' laugh also perfectly mixes with the music. I love it!
@Geoxile in case you haven't noticed, almost every single original outfit in the KH series has zippers somewhere (it's a director trademark, he's more interested in zippers than anything else... for whatever reason)
@myfriendfreckle you actually have to make this keyblade to get it: 1. you need the ultimate recipe found in a chest in Manison: Basement Corridor (Twilight Town) and the moogles need to be at lvl 2 2. you'll need the following ingredients: 13 Orichalcum+, 1 Orichalcum, 1 Mythril Crystal, 1 Dense Crystal, 1 Twilight Crystal, and 7 Serenity Crystals (but since there are only 7 Orichalcum+ in-game, you need an Energy Crystal to half these requirements)
I love the little laser light show if you know what i mean i saw all the videos and though I had to reflect them for like 30 seconds since youtube counts slowly it was only like 10 seconds reflecting the lasers
@Wizardlink8173 RIGHT! lol i'm not the only one who thought that. Xemnas is a Dark Sith because his sabers are red and he tosses buildings at you with his mind.
@ScottyofPwnage That keyblade is Ultima Weapon, it gives the best magic use in the game and is the best keyblade you can get. You get it via Synthesis, you need to find all the pieces of Orichilum + and some other items, as far as i know, you DON'T need to find a recipe for it, you just need to progress so far into the game. Hope that helped.
oooo now that I see closer when Sora was given Riku's Keyblade he holds it backwards like Ventus, Dual wields like Roxas, and holds it fowards like he usually does. Pretty cool with the fact that they're all the same person. =)
I have many questions, some questioning Xemnas' awesomeness. 1. How the hell did you do a backflip while simutaneously slashing with laser sword? 2. Do you ever run out of lasers? 3. What do you know, and think about Star Wars? 4. Do you think the Jedi with their puny lightsabers compare to you many laser swords, detachable, shootable, and slashable? 5. Why did your clone push riku toward Sora? 6. Why didn't you just keep doing the laser dome thing? 7. Can i have an autograph?
and you have to think, when he's saying "Keyblade", he's really referring to the X-Blade :) Birth by Sleep showed us that the saying is similar, though some pronounce it 'Kye'
Back when I played this game, in the beggining part of the fight I used to dodge and attack, knowing that I was gonna get hit in doing so, just because it made the fight more epic. I wish I had a ps2 again with this game. Good times
This is Madness, Terra, Aqua, and Ven will have huge roles in the future of KH. If you're a real KH fan instead of just a "Sora" fan you'll appreciate the story
Heroes from the realm of light, i will not allow it to end this way, not yet, if light and darkness are eternal, then we nothings must be the same, eternal
Tilts head. "Did anyone else notice that Sora wields Way to the Dawn in the same reverse grip way Ventas does during the final strikes? I didn't notice that detail before."
I love the little laser light show if you know what i mean i saw all the videos and though I had to reflect them for like 30 seconds since youtube counts slowly it was only like 10 seconds reflecting the lasers it took me a million times to defeat him without being at level 99 and withh the ultima keyblade
I hate those people that complain that they're trying to prolong the series for no reason. If anybody paid any attention, they would understand the purpose of each game is to properly set the foundation and supply the background for an incredible story. The games aren't just about Sora and Riku. So many other people played vital roles, and their stories needed to be told before they could finish the series. All the pieces lie where they fell...Where they wait for him....
