Most pilots use flight simulators to practice. I remember my dad using Flight Simulator a shit ton way back in the 90s and early 2000s when he still flew those little Cesna planes. It is almost a guarantee that a pilot would have a flight simulator setup at his/her home.

What's actually crazy is.... I remember this happening and my memory is hazy of when exactly it was vs the plane I was supposed to be on; but remember that flight that got shot down over Ukraine in like... 2012 2013?? I can't remember lmao. But yeah. We were visiting family over in England and that was supposed to be our flight back home; we missed it because we got held up by a train. The amount of calls we got when we were in the airport when the news broke (and we had no idea, we were just chilling waiting for the next flight) was ridiculous.

I find it hard to believe that Xeno hadn't even heard about this incident in passing. It was over the news for weeks, all over the world.
