Without Challenge Mode nerfs, it is relatively straightforward to get Shulk to hit damage caps for all 4 of his specials. Used a simpler 5 Orb Chain Attack setup. Orbs are placed quickly via Orb Master skill on Morag's common blades. 1:03 is start of Chain Attack.
Battle Strategy:
Place 5 orbs via Orb Master skill on Morag's common blades: as long as one Orb Master blade is always out in the field, any blade can place an orb at any stage of a blade combo (no duplicates, of course). Start chain attack. Manipulate orb breakage so that Shulk breaks the last orb in the 3rd round of the chain attack. Element orb ender aux core is used to get past the 1st round of the chain attack.
Setup:
Nia: Lv99, both driver charts filled, max idea and weapons arts levels, burst symbol, optical headband, critical symbol, pouch items that boost arts recharge.
Boreas: Exact setup does not matter.
Dahlia: Exact setup does not matter.
Mikhail: Exact setup does not matter.
Morag: Lv99, both driver charts filled, max idea and weapons arts levels, burst symbol, optical headband, critical symbol, pouch items that boost specials recharge.
Ice common blade with Lv5 Orb Master skill: Exact setup does not matter but needs Element Orb Ender aux core.
Wind common blade with Lv5 Orb Master skill: Exact setup does not matter.
Fire common blade with Lv5 Orb Master skill: Exact setup does not matter.
Zeke: Lv99, both driver charts filled, max idea and weapons arts levels, burst symbol, crimson headband, abyss masque, pouch items that boost specials recharge.
Shulk: S+, tachyon chip, affinity max atk v, outdoor attack up v, specials lv 1 plus vi
Water and Earth ether cannon common blades with high ether mods: Exact setup does not matter but consider using Hunter's Chemistry / Shoulder to Shoulder V aux cores.
