Nia's transformation should've been brought on by everyone getting worn down to the point of getting nearly killed, resulting in Rex trying to use the Roc to stab himself in a last ditch effort to gain access to ether in the way that Vandham did.

@@SufferingSuccotash If they can't get out of the Spirit Crucible and die there, Pyra & Mythra would still die. That kind of conflict and fear running through Rex's mind would make the payoff of Vandham's death and Roc's presence even better.

I get what you're going for, but I believe it would weaken Nia's decision. Better would be Rex stabbing himself with the third sword on the Cliffs of Morytha.

One thing I wish they did in this cutscene is incorporate Vandham's final lesson. In addition to showing that Rex is willing to do anything to protect his friends, he could do it to protect Nia or something from a bunch of the phantoms, and then he gets tired out or something and she heals his wounds from the self stabby. I mean, he was using twin scythes, and there wasn't much ether to use. THEY LITERALLY HAD ALL THEY NEEDED IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO COOL. DON'T SHOW ME A BADASS GUN ON THE MANTLE IF YOU AIN'T GONNA USE IT!

Although Rex can't answer her romantical/love interests. This is by far the best coming out parallel in video games. Nia was afraid to come out because of what she is. But all her friends - they still fight on. For her. With her. Thx Monolith for this.

Adam Zielinski No, she has regeneration abilities, this allows her to restore any wound, no matter the injury. Malos my be an aegis, but flesh eaters match up with Aegises fine, based on Jin’s fights with Mythra. The only reason she doesn’t get decimated by Malos is because he, unlike pneuma and ontos, is burdened by a shitty driver, Amalthus.

Nia is a flesh eater. A blade that has eaten its drivers heart. So its like a human blade hybrid. akhos, patroka and mikhail, are also flesh eaters. This allows them to use their blade weapons (i.e. nia's scimitar, akhos' bow-scythe, etc) even if they dont have a driver. Yet they can still act as a driver for other blades (nia with dromarch, akhos with obrona, etc.). Or be used with a driver (i.e. rex can use nia's weapon). Flesh eaters basically have the traits of humans with a blade's resiliency, and no real need for a driver.

Ben Lewis I don’t know how far in you are but (SPOILERS) Mik isn’t a flesh eater. He’s a blade eater. Amalthus inserted a core crystal piece into him. That’s why he isn’t affected by Amalthus’ blade controlling powers.

Yes, they gave each nation a specific accent for the English version. Just like Xenoblade 1, the voices were mostly done by British actors.

If im correct, a blade's form cannot change (unless you count pyra and mythra even tho theyre technically seperate entities ). So assuming nia has been in blade form before, im sure shes used to it.

Think about it the other way around. Given that her Blade form is likely her natural one, having pants on at all probably feels restricting for her. In a similar fashion, she'd have to work to get used to _not_ wearing heels the way most would have to get used to _wearing_ heels.

Spoilers (but most of you probably already beat the game if you're here): ---- I always expected Rex and Nia were going to be the go-to main ship at the end of the game, before I found out that apparently blades and drivers get it on a lot (which I never would've even considered, especially in this case since Pyra looks 10 years older than Rex). Not to mention the inherent issue of Pyra and Mythra being two different people with the same memories. By default that's harem as fuck if he goes with either of them lol. The end of the game would've been the perfect opportunity to have Pyra/Mythra die for real and leave Rex with just Nia. It resolves the decision between Pyra/Mythra for Rex, and also gives Nia a more satisfying conclusion. It's not like there's any post-game content that would make it not work for them to not come back. Just seems like a lot more aligned for Rex/Nia if they didn't go with making Rex/Pyra/Mythra romantic instead and kinda ruined a lot of their relationship when it could've been more like a family (again, considering Rex is literally 15. Nia looks and acts much closer to his age) For the record I'm not even a Nia stan, I only played this game for Tora
