You know , before this episode, I never really thought of Lorithia as an actual villain. I only though that she would turn out to be just a generic traitor character, but honestly, after she just did that to Kallian, she really just became my most hated character for those few minutes. Her death scene after the fight was one of the most satisfying death scenes in the entire game. The scene where Kallian talks to Melia is a really heart-wrenching character considering that Kallian is my favorite supporting character. Plus the way Riki asked Melia about her brother, was genius - "Where Melly's brother go?" That's unbelievably cute. Also, as a side note, Dickson the *dick* just returned *son*.

That moment Melia hugged Riki... Oh my god... Those feels... So... Cute...

"We pay for our insolence," How much? Like, ten? Twenty? Wait, you didn't even specify the type of currency how the hell am I supposed to pay in the first place?

When I was doing my playthrough of Xenoblade 3D, this was the fight that made me put down the game for a while, and ultimately I stopped playing and sold it. I guess someone else paid me for my insolence.

Okay, at first, I thought Lorithia was just a cliché traitor at best. Nowhere near Dickson or Alvis' level. The moment she kissed Kallian, I was like "That's it, you're going down, you BITCH." After everything Melia had to go through, after enduring so much pain, after having to deal with Lorithia's cruel and heartless words many times, and after being forced to relive much of all that pain by seeing Kallian again... That kiss was nothing short of the ultimate insult.

Kallian's death actually made me cry.

Kallian's death is the saddest death for me in this game because of how it was executed. Not only did he turn into a hideous beast, but he was abused and controlled by a witch of a High Entia and Melia was forced to kill her own brother. In the speech that Kallian gave Melia, we finally see Melia break down. Also we actually see Riki nearly crying and sounding sad for the first time ever. The song that plays during this scene, "While I think," is also the saddest song in this game. It also played for Meyneth's death and Melia's father's death.

On behalf of everyone who died on Lorithia... SUMMON BOLT!!!!!

This game's writing is usually pretty good, but I always laugh at the fact that it gets utterly, and laughably terrible before the Lorithia fight, and then suddenly becomes amazing, and emotional after it. "I'm still alive. I won't die. Not yet. And thats why we're here" "Everyone who lives has a life! And it shouldn't be threatened by anybody" PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT HAHAHAHAHAHAH

Discussion time: What do you guys think of Riki at the end? At first, Melia thought she was the only one who could hear her brother, meaning that she could just possibly be imagining it. However, Riki showed that his word were real. At the same time, he was showing the innocence of a child (or Nopon) by asking "Where Melly's brother?" It shows how Riki is there for Melia to look after, along with her people and friends. Any other thoughts?

HEROPON IS BEST CHARACTER! 10/10!

That cutscene towards the end always chokes me up. And to think, when I was playing through the first time, I didn't think there would be a story moment where Riki would actually be the one to make me cry.

If u hate this lorithia with a burning passion, i'm sure it's for the same reasons as everyone else: 1.shes heartless, 2.YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR INSOLENECE! 3.her boss 4.she's been in cahoots with zanza the whole time 5.WHAT SHE DID TO KALLIAN 6.Her personality

Out of all the cutscenes so far 7:59 was my favourite. There is something about Melia's character, whom went though so much, is truly accepting what she must do and how things ended up. The music especially plus riki being serious and having an inner cutscene heart to heart with Melia rather than being his goofy self just added the cherry on the top.

The feels are real. That song when Lorithia is defeated and Kallian shows up is so heart-warming. And Melia being so courageous. This is my favorite moment in this game. Finally Melia gets some closure for her suffering.

Back when I played this game for the first time in like seventh grade this fight seriously took me like three weeks of grinding. Even worse was that I was being pressured by my mom to hurry up since she wanted to see what happened next in the story after inadvertently seeing basically the whole game as I played out in my living room. Good times. Also if anyone sees this...lol.

I recently learned that Dickson's canon last name is Soss. Say his full name quickly, and not only do you learn what Lorithia's favorite meal is, but also that working for God apparently doesn't come with many good benefits... ..like changing your name to not sound like Dicks and Sauce.

Just because it wasn't shown in this video, the Physical AoE Art that inflicts Topple on the entire party is called "Obliterate". People say that "You'll pay for your insolence!" is her most annoying quote. I say the one that comes EVERY F**KING TIME she uses Obliterate is worse! *_"It'll all be over soon!"_* I spent no less than two hours fighting her, due to the fact that she just looooooooooved using that one on me. Combine that with how all of the Nebulae she summons have Debuff Spikes, and you get one hellish time. No joke- it got so bad, I screamed at my TV, "SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!!" God, I hate this boss. Good riddance!

The way Lorithia talked about "being promised immortality" reminds me of Queen Zeal from Chrono Trigger where she also wanted immortality. I mean, the both of them rode on a giant being.

So, just gonna say this now. You guys all know how Chuggaa typically makes up his party for Boss fights according to what characters have the most connection to the boss/reasoning for fighting that boss specifically, right? Well i was thinking...I wouldn't be surprised if this didn't happen, but i really hope the party for the final boss fight is comprised of Shulk, Reyn and Fiora. I mean, they're the 3 amigos who we started our journey with, the original party back from Colony 9. We started with them, why not finish with them? Plus, i think that it'd feel...fitting to have them of all people. I mean, Shulk, we'd obviously have because of Zanza, he is the main character afterall, Fiora to fight at Shulk's side and avenge Meyneth's death (aswell as defeat the person indirectly responsible for her situation and everyone else's), and Reyn to protect the both of them, help them in taking down a God, fulfill Fiora's promise for the last time, and have their long, difficult and incredible journey come to a close fighting at each other's side. But that's just me.

Lorithia kissed Kallian! That's it, I officially hate her, Kallian's one of my two favorite guys (I try to choose favorite guys among the 'single' guys; yes, I like Shulk, but I don't name him as a favorite because I make up stories to myself for stuff I watch and I don't want to have him become my character's boyfriend when he's got Fiora)! The other guy I like is Alvis, and...well...let's just say, I hope he returns to the good-guy side, because at the moment he's a jerk!

"And with that SUMMON BOLT!" I had to stop the video because I was cracking up. Never had Chuggaa sound so vinidctive.

The cutscene after the fight with Lorithia is by far my favorite. Before the Dickson part though. He's a, well, dick. Despite being my fourth time seeing that cutscene, I think this was only the second time it brought tears to my eyes.

Next up is probably my favorite boss fight. But I admit: that SUMMON BOLT! exclaim was epic. Poor Melly...

It felt so good just hearing Chugga ranting about how terrible of a boss Lorithia is while absolutely crushing her. SWEET JUSTICE, GODDANGIT.

I didn't cry until Riki said "Where Meli's brother?" while Melia stared back at him like like that. My heart sank faster than a bank account being raided by the IRS. 💀 This scene hit me just as hard as the "Poppi Scene" at the end of Chronicles 2 😵

I liked Kalian too. He was such a great guy and didn't but into the racist BS a lot of the other High Entia believed in. Thought he was gone for good like 10 episodes ago, but I was wrong. NOW he's gone. RIP.

OMG...She is finally dead. I fucking hated that bitch. No doubt my least favorite character in Xenoblade Chronicles, even more so than Mumkar. It was so satisfying when I killed her. I was like, "YES! DIE YOU BITCH, DIE!" Now...how many episodes are left before it all ends? My guess: probably around 5 because he does need to finish the rest of the sidequests first because once he goes to Dickson, there will be no turning back.

Hearing that she's the hardest boss for everyone made me happy, I thought I just really sucked at xenoblade. Now I know I just kind of suck.

Okay, wow, that cutscene. I'm not alone in saying that Kallian is my favorite supporting character, so naturally I was in tears throughout the whole thing. I like Melia, and I have a newfound appreciation for her strength after this.

That touching moment between Melia and Riki made me fucking cry.

What was so bad about what Lorithia did? Is it because it was a kiss? Because people have told me that it is, I always thought it was a whisper. And Melia exclaims "accept your fate" at the end. But that's the exact opposite of what they're doing. Which was kinda out of place to me. But whatever. Not trying to trash this part or anything. Just stuff to point out.
