The tanks and servitors in 2 don't scare me nearly as much as the disks in 1. One of those things wiped out my entire squad in a mission. A rare occasion where I just flat rage quit.
Apparently the tanks in XN2 were supposed to have AOE attacks, which definitely would have been a game changer - especially early on. It seems like it got trimmed during an earlier milestone, but I do wonder if its now relegated to the more advanced "upgraded" models we might encounter later down the line.
Cruiser was on "resupply" mission so base was there. Also you had noted sabotage acts in that area which indicates something was there... I also see you didn't heed about "C"...;-) Stay strong Commander, I'm not sure if the Chinese are done with their weather games yet but I am keeping an eye on my daughter's "Russian" cat you never know...;-)
It's definitely on my list ever since we wrapped up JA3. I just got sidetracked by a few things, and now XN2 ended up running longer than originally intended. But I do have the Lord of Nothing campaign dusted off and ready to resume some time in the near future. :)
Whilst I love all the Retcon Raider videos, I am finding XN2 a bit of a grind. Currently the game just seems far too "samey". Although I do realise it's Alpha and only at milestone 4. And the Devs probably only have a fraction of the budget of AAA titles. I realise you could argue the same about a lot of games. But, for example, something like XCOM2 does a better job of hiding it.
I don't disagree, especially since we're at the point in the current build where the story has cut off. I'd have stopped already, but enough folks are still digging it that I figured we'd at least check out the rest of the tech tree. :)
