Xenosaga: The Animation Opening Song Again if whoever subbed this wants me to take it down, just say the word. I don't own anything here, if you didn't figure that out yourself.
I would so love to see the Xenosaga games get an HD remastered on modern game consoles. The Anime can definitely use a reboot/remake. I have seen some old Animes come back to life after being dead and gone for so long. It's about time Xenosaga gets the same treatment. Such a great series all Scifi fans need to checkout.
What I found most shocking was how much of the English dub dialogue was verbatim the English dub and translation of the actual game, minor plot alterations aside. They did a very good job.
OMG I LOVED THIS ANIME. I loved the soundtrack, the opening soundtrack was one of the best and most evocative and emotive I've ever heard. Where can I download the anime soundtrack?
I LOVE THIS INTRO. Best intro to an anime ever, IMO. Too bad the anime itself wasn't as great, though I still liked it. Oh, and while I say this is the best intro ever, I still think Sorairo Days is the best intro *song* ever. ^.^
The ending is changed to fit better with Xenosaga 2, some events moved in the timeline and ofcause a lot had to be left out. Xenosaga1 had like 8 hours of pure cutscenes alone, while this anime 4 hours total, so ofcause some stuff had to be condensed.
@SwEeTcOrE1989 It covers just the first game, I don't think they ever intended it to cover the full series. I think it was more to get anime fans into the game. Either way I intend on buying the entire anime series :)
@SammEater yea... i kinda watched the anime a while ago... got to like the second to last episode and was like.... ok how are they gonna end it? and then it derped like that.... *was dissapoint* ost was epic as hell tho
Uploading a video that is owned by Toei Animation, TV Asahi, and Namco-Bandai - "Naaah, it's cool man. They won't find out." Uploading said video but with fansubs who I'm sure is not associated with neither brands mentioned and perhaps not even legal to do so- "Oh please, oh mighty subbers. Please allow me to keep your video that you rightfully own on my channel."
No.... no... just no. People who have played all three games still say it's bad. What you're saying is something akin to 'People only say they like the Castlevania show because they have never played the games.' When people who are big fans of the games have gone on to say the show is excellent.
+Brett Hicks The anime's story deviates quite a bit from what happens in the games. There's a good in-universe reason for that though, that's implied in the supplementary story materials and at the end of the last game in the series: SPOILERS The anime takes place in one of the numerous timelines where Shion and co. do not succeed in stopping Wilhelm from resetting time using Zarathustra. The timeline in the game is the last one, where they actually succeed in defeating him.
biohazard_star What are you basing that on? I have seen that stated no where in the anime or anywhere else. As far as I can tell the actual reason is that they sort of 'retconned' the first game to better reflect the events of the 2nd and 3rd game, and otherwise it's largely faithful other than having Virgil last longer and cutting out small parts.

@@brigadeleaderharuhisuzumiy8589 it would be awesome..may be a bit longer, around the release of Xenoblade 2 it was revealed they did a fundraiser for a trilogy in hd, it didn't work out, I hope they try again one day.
