I went with a x3460 as the 60, 70 and 80 are the top bins for this socket as the i7 are still expensive and I dont need onboard graphics. I went with a chinese 2048 8gb rx580 and it runs amazing on a slight overclock to 3.7ghz.
I'm new here, just found this channel out and its great! Very impressed with the quality of videos and topics covered great job. Very informative and entertaining. Just something to add, sometimes I do feel that you are a bit too close to the camera. Other than that its great. Great channel you got here.
Thank You man!!! And yeah I totally do, it’s without a doubt the biggest Critique I get. Thanks for adding that, I am going push my camera back going forward. But dude thank you for the kind words, comments like this really make my day!!! Hoping you Sub and become part of our community!!!

Hi there, loved your video. Quick question for ya. I just ordered a x3440 to replace my i5-650 for my intel DH55TC Motherboard. The board doesn't have any heat sinks. Do you think it can handle some minor overclocking?
Hey Brian!! I'm so sorry for the delayed response, I haven't been keeping up with comments like I should! :) - I don't know off the top of my head but let me do some research for you. Who makes the motherboard?
run the x3440 in 2 systems Oc to 3.5ghz and each system has a gtx 660 gpu. we use the systems to play rust, and they run flawlessly!! less than $100 in each build. running strong 2 years now
Hey Man sorry for the delayed response, I've been slacking with RU-vid stuff big time this past year. We just had a baby girl so it's been tough. Maybe I will do that but I can't make any promises. I have 7 idea's for new video's and I really want to focus all the free time (Which isn't much these days) into making those idea's come to life. About 3 months ago I put out a Star Wars X99 Build, but that build bombed for some reason. Well not posting on RU-vid Regularly is probobly why, LOL!! Thanks for dropping a comment my man, as always I appreciate your support!!
I’m thinking everything is going to go down in price once those cards come out. This Black Friday is going to be crazy!!! I’m thinking the RTX 2060’s could be 200-250 bucks.
Mary Kay!!! I miss you so much!!! Thanks for checking out my new video!!! Let me do some research on this, I know the new NVIDIA Cards will have this feature packed in, and from what I've seen it looks amazing. But I promise I will do some research for you.
im just a little confused abt the Xeons is this compatible with non ecc rams? and a non ecc supported motherboards? like an Asrock h55m-le. and im planning to upgrade my i3-540 to Xeon x3440
@@johnchristopherromero7359 My man!! Yeah bro if you're ever confused about anything just drop a comment on any of my vids and i'll give you the best advice I can. Geeze....I work in tech support and have a side business so it's all I do.
