I am redirecting to healing myself. I changed my phone number and moved. 💞 I have forgiven others. I am using the "quarantine" as a time to go inward. I don't own a TV. I set up my telescope and I am reading again. PS. I've been making my bed for years!

I read a long time ago to make my bed every morning. I don't make it perfectly, but I do it. Not sure if it helped me a lot, but it kind of sets a good tone for my day, and it does look orderly when I come home, I recommend it.

Wow, brilliant! I’ve lost touch of my spiritual side and was skeptical going into this, but he’s described it so perfectly. Life isn’t as hopeless or depressing as it seems, it’s as bad as my mind is thinking and making it. Basic principals but it’s nice to hear it put like this.
That's all well and good but positive thinking won't solve the underlying problem. Among all living beings, humans are the only ones who are aware that they are going to die. From a young age we all learn this fact by observing the world around us. Once we learn that, just like everyone and everything else, we too are in the process of dying, We begin to try and submerge that fact from our conscious mind through the millions of distracting and briefly pleasurable experiences available to our five senses. Some of us use our intelligence to create works of art and literature. All of these creations become the next distraction for others, the next BIG THING. Very few live in the present. Instead our minds are constantly projecting into the future where that NEXT BIG THING will finally make us happy once we have it. It never works because there is always something beyond it over the next Hill that we think we want, a bigger flat screen, a different wife, a higher degree; the desire to boldly go where no man has gone before. Take that wonderful vacation, get our body in shape, have sex with our fantasy lover, get high, get rich, get famous, get power. But none of it EVER gives any lasting peace of mind. We seek permanence in a constantly changing impermanent world. We develop alternative security schemes. We invent an invisible man in the sky who will save us from the wretched fact that there is no lasting security to be had here. We convince ourselves that there is a better world out there somewhere, and that if we just believe the right things and do the right things the magic man will allow us to go there. However, we still have to die first! What are we to do? The answer is to learn to stop thinking emotionally. Simple but not easy. It can be done, has been done, and is currently being done by those who care to quiet their minds. Despite all he increasing insanity in the world, this is still available to you. You must learn to take control of the emotional reaction to everything presented to your mind by your senses. The answers are not located on alien worlds to which we THINK we need to travel. The answers can be found but only through a journey into the INNER Space between your ears.

Dandapani is probably the only "monk" i truly resonate with. straightforward and no "hocus pocus", everything is very tangible and applicable. thank you for uploading. One thing i do disagree with him on is that energy despite being finite can actually be increased and cultivated. he did mention at some point that people and things can give you energy. If you stop the energy drains (some people, smoking etc.), exercise, eat well, think well, act well and spend time in uplifting places and with uplifitng people you can actually increase and accumulate your energy capital. if someone is interested, you can check mantak chia he has great resources on how to do just that. @@sashalangford5805 Monks are not really required to marry or not to marry. Its a freedom available in Hindu philosophy. Many of our monks/ great sages are getting married for thousands of years. Being a monk is devotion to seek. The path to seek varies. Anyways, its very complicated.

I had a few friends in my life that made me feel exhausted after being with them. My friends also become jealous of each other & want 2 b around me constantly. No matter where they go they try & talk me in2 going with them. I get 2 the point of avoiding them. I dont know y I attract this type of people.
