Commanders will stay bad as long as Bruce Allen 2.0 (Jason Wright), and Rivera are still there.

Looked to me they gave Seattle ample opportunity to come back and Seattle just could not take advantage of it.

Yeah, I’m not a fan of the divisional playoffs. It should be top 4 since the league is so small still. STL 7-3 got snubbed out of a playoff spot for a 4-6 team

Need more teams to do that

If they can get the attendance and ratings higher they could probably start proposing expansion teams in a season or two. So if you live near one of these teams, buy tickets and go. If you don't, then make sure to watch it to get their ratings up and buy some of the gear. You have to be willing to support products you like and want to see succeed.

Maybe not expand, because the number of teams atm, but the format, yes. They should have had the Division Champs, then two Wilds regardless of Divisions. This would have put the proper teams in the tournament.

The best record on each divisions should advance automatically to the Division Championships, and the second and third place teams on each division will play a wildcard game playoffs. Whichever team wins the wildcard game will play in the Division Championships.

I read online that they XFL will have the same teams for 2024 , but will add expansion teams/ cities in 2025.

Seattle played DC much better this season in both matchups during the season. Lost by 5 points combined. Battlehawks couldn't keep it as close and lost to Seattle 30-12. These were the league's 2 best teams.

​@@TheLastRomantic68 that was a defensive game where the Commanders QB was 11-19, for under 150. Didn't dismantle any defense. In fact, Washington's defense did more that game than the offense. I would definitely take the Defenders over the Commanders... it's not like the Commanders have players outside of Mclaurin that would start on another team. The defenders also have a much better coaching staff.

@@TCT92Graphics Yes I get that. But I was talking about all the teams. DC, St. L, Houston, all had games with sellout crowds, but last few games you can see so many empty seats even with a winning team. Maybe it is football fatigue. But like I said maybe they need a little more recognizable names on the field.

You have to give the league time. It's only just returned. People need time to build a relationship with the teams. Once people are more familiar with the teams and players, attendance will increase. It's like watching a movie where in the beginning you're introduced to the main character but you know nothing about him so you have no reason to care what happens to him. As the plot progresses and you become more invested in the character, you find yourself rooting for him to accomplish whatever his goal is in the film. Where that happens in a couple hours of a movie's runtime, building a fanbase takes a bit longer, but same concept.

@@gunnarstew I think so as well. Even though the Brahmas are out I like was was done this weekend. San Antonio had its fiesta night parade and near the end was a San Antonio xfl Brahmas parade float with Hines ward on it. I wish the players could have been in the parade as well. But at least it got scene by a good amount of people in the city, usually 750,000 people.

Funny how everyone blames Gregg Williams, but let the coach in charge of him off the hook. Sean Payton was also suspended but catches no flack. Gregg Williams is a great football coach.
