IDK wha these comments is onn but here is the REAL FACTS about XG. Technically XG would be considered a JPOP GROUP as they are Japanese and from JAPAN. However, their label does not promote them as a JPOP NOR KPOP group as they consider themselves a GLOBAL GROUP. They said it themselves1 However, they ONLY PROMOTE in South Korea as of now on the South Korean music award shows and stuff like that. Moreover, so far, all of their official songs have ALSO been released and sang in ONLY ENGLISH and they are inspired by heavy HIP HOP/R&B sound as it was also confirmed by their music producer. They girls even mentioned themselves how they are naturally inspired and influenced by many BLACK ARTISTS like Lauryn Hill for example and they express how much they even LOVE KEHLANI. They actually just met her when Kehlani performed in Seoul, South Korea a few days ago. Their music producer Simon Jakops who was in a kpop group as a Rapper/vocalist named DALMATION is an American Korean and also mixed with Japanese, even confirmed that Kehlani is actually one of his and XG'S MAIN INFLUENCES to their sound recently in an insta post after they saw her in Seoul. Their name XG is an acronym for Xtraordinary Girls under the XGALX label under the popular AVEX COMPANY BASED in Tokyo, Japan. XG made their debut on March 18, 2022 with their 1st single/MV “Tippy Toes.” There are 7 members and below I will put their names and ages along w the time stamps so it can be easier for you to REMEMBER. Should check out their girls cypher with their rap line was really good what blew them up before shooting stars on like tiktok especially :) Also bit hard to hear the guys at the back voices quite muted had to put up much louder i think cause further away but would be good to hear them a bit better and their thoughts ^_^

They're actually they're been trained in Japan for 5 years before going to Korea. They're going back and forth for the training and promotion,. They're do not belong to K-Pop. They're all Japanese members that they should belong to J-Pop then K-Pop, but they're a Global Group. They're under AVEX Japanese Company and partnered with Korean Company only. AVEX is funding most of the productions.
