What I love about XG is their love and respect for the culture. It's authentic! When they say they are influenced by TLC, Destiny's Child, Aaliyah, Lauren Hill etc, you can tell! This is why we call them X-pop, Xtraordinary pop. XG is X-LeveL! In addition to their OMVs: XG Tapes showcase the 4 rappers XG Vox's showcase the 3 singers
Simon aka JAKOPS is their producer and founder of the group. He used to be in a 2nd generation K-Pop group himself called the Dalmatians. He trained the girls for five years before they released their debut single Tippy Toes in 2022. He also makes sure every member within the group keeps their individualism by letting them do projects to let them express themselves more to the audience. That's why XG has two series. The XG TAPES series which is where the rappers (Maya, Harvey, Jurin, Cocona) get to show off more of their rap skills and the XG VOX series where the vocalists (Juria, Hinata, Chisa) really can show off their amazing vocal range
XG was the only girl group from Asia that Rolling Stones Magazine mentioned last year in their list for fashionable or stylish music groups . . . Thanks for continuing to react to them . .
React to "XTRA XG #38 (‘WOKE UP’ MV & Photoshoot Behind)" Released 4 days ago, think u would find it interesting u will also see some of their personality and the love and support they have for each other i def don't think its a group that is gonna disband, they basically been training together for 5 years before they even debuted
ALPHAZ ON DECK! I agree, artists these days aren't complete packages as performers; they are limited to only singing/rapping and walking/running around the stage. XG are complete performers dancing, singing, and rapping in 3 different languages effortlessly at a high level; true entertainers. Thanks for your reaction and continued support for the girls.

You are right on point. XG create their own lane, they are talented at everything. Their videos are out of this world, I can’t watch anything anymore except XG. More XG please, I love your reaction. You are really good, thanks. Like and subscribe. Check out Galz Xypher, it’s legendary.
all their songs would do great on radio on the us.. its clean.. miss that here. theyre young but whoever is pulling the strings is old school rap fan. the beats the lyrics.. this song reminds me of a aaliyah vibe
Thanks for playing the "Left Right" request! It's a unique group bc they are all Japanese but sing in English and promote in Korea. Kpop charts will register songs in Korean and/or English if promoted in Korea by a "kpop" artist. I don't know how they are so crystal clear rapping in English either bc only one of them speaks Englsh as if she is a native speaker. The rest have pretty heavy accents and go back and forth between Japanese and English even when being interviewed in English.
Thank you for your reactions! XG is absolutely amazing and I'm so glad you're checking them out. I wanted to give you some other groups/songs I think you might enjoy checking out: Stray Kids - God's Menu, Thunderous, Freeze, Venom, Maniac, etc etc (I know another commenter gave a whole list). They self produce everything and are a super talented group. G-idle - Super Lady, Tomboy. Almost everything is created by their leader and lead rapper Seoyeon, though other members also help with lyrics and composition. Chung Ha - Bicycle, Eenie Meenie, I'm Ready, Stay Tonight, Gotta Go. One of the best singers and dancers of the third gen. Everglow - DUN DUN, First, Pirate. They do a very boy group/girl crush vibe and absolutely rock it. Jessi - What Type of X, Nunu Nana, Cold Blooded, Who Dat B. Hailing from NY, broke into the Korean pop/rap scene as a soloist. Great rapper and singer. It's a lot, but there's a ton of amazing kpop out there! I hope you enjoy your journey.
Harvey (Amy) is the 3rd verse, white hat, green hair, pink gloves, the one drop drip. She's also at the forefront in the very beginning as they wiggle their fingers. She also appears on the bridge with XG We're Certified.
Harvey getting you twisted bro 😂. Check her and the rest of the Rap line on the Tapes Series. Vocal line are 🔥 Check the First Take videos of Winter Without You and Shooting Star. Live and 1 take.
Respect. We’ve all got our preferences! So glad you still enjoyed it a lot. 👍 It’s hard for me to pick between this and “Shooting Star.” Upon release, even though “Left Right” is super nostalgic for me (reminiscent of SWV and Aaliyah), I actually favored “Shooting Star” a bit more too because I thought it was so well-rounded. Plus, the moment the chorus was about to start, I had an idea of what I felt the chorus SHOULD sound like… and it completely delivered. 💯 I’m not a legit musician so I have no idea how to describe what I wanted to hear. All I can do is let the chorus play and say “THIS. What we’re hearing right now is what I wanted to hear.” The song released early-mid first quarter and it remained my #1 all year. There was one song released by another group late in the year that gave it some good competition tho! (WayV’s “On My Youth”) It had some r&b stylings to it too, but there were other elements that made it quite unique. That slightly experimental/risky approach is why I considered putting it at the top spot, but “Shooting Star” is ultimately stronger all throughout, whereas “On My Youth” had a couple spots that could’ve been delivered better.
